2009 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor 4.6l
2009 Ford Crown Victoria POLICE INTERCEPTOR Description
This is your basic ex-police cruiser. It's a 2009 Police Interceptor with 114,428 miles. The car runs and drives perfectly; it also handles and rides nicely. It is perfectly dependable, and everything works as it should. The stock radio is still intact, and the AC/heat are also present and functional. The engine is spotless. The brakes, steering, and transmission work excellently.
This car is from Napa, CA, so its life has not been so hard as that of a real city patrol car. The interior is very clean, and the rear seat is like new; the front seats are nearly spotless, and the dash only has a couple of small holes near the central trunk release button. All police equipment, short of the extra storage box in the trunk, has been removed. The paint is very good, and all black repainting of doors/roof has been blended perfectly (even if my lousy pictures don't show it). The doorjambs do still have some white paint from the old department paint scheme.
You can drive this car anywhere, in comfort, and get decent mileage (for a V8 car). The cop tires even still have decent tread (60-70%). Odometer mileage may increase slightly over time, but I've only put about 7000 miles on this car over nearly a year's time. It has mainly just been a backup car for me. I'm in the process of selling my house and taking a really long trip, so the extra car must go.
