1934 Ford Coupe Description

The 1934 Ford 3-window coupe might just be the most perfectly-proportioned hot rod ever designed. Just look at the curves on this slick, freshly built example: the raked and chopped top, and the smooth taper of the fenders, the way the fenders hug the tires. This is definitely a car that everyone can love. The body is fiberglass, but you already knew that, right? No 80-year-old steel turns out this well and looks so tidy, not at this price! Even so, the look is ideal, with just enough rake to it to give it an attitude. The full-fendered Ford positively glows in the sunlight thanks to a lot of metallic and pearl in the custom finish, which is show-quality throughout and is the kind of paint that wins trophies at big shows. The paint is from House of Kolors, Cinnamon Pearl and Kandy Brandywine, with Gold Dust flames on the fenders and running boards, and it's worth noting that this is the first car painted with their new Shimrin 2 finish system. Don't worry about driving it, because there's a clear bra on the nose and running boards and almost all the chrome trim has been shaved save for the King Bee style headlights up front and the familiar '34 Ford grille. Stock-looking Ford taillights give it a traditional look and the frenched license plate frame keeps the lines uninterrupted. The fit of the bodywork is quite good and with a steel hood, the important parts are still easy to access. The interior is just as well finished, with handsome cream-colored leather bucket seats and beautifully sculpted door panels. Thick carpets help control noise and heat, so this Ford feels a lot more substantial than it would have in 1934 and all the amenities are included. You'll note that the custom dash was finished to match the leather then filled with very cool Classic Instruments dials in a trick three-dimensional panel. The Vintage Air A/C system is neatly integrated into the lower dash so it doesn't stand out and the AM/FM/iPod stereo system sounds spectacular in the well-insulated cabin. Add features like the polished tilt column, power windows and locks, and a billet steering wheel that seems to match the gauge panel, you have a car that's built to cruise yet still retains the flair of the original design. A large fully upholstered trunk makes it practical, too; just imagine taking your next road trip in this awesome coupe! It's ready to go thanks to a 350 cubic inch crate engine from GM Performance Parts. Topped by an Edelbrock Performer intake and 650 CFM carburetor, it's a torque-happy small block that makes this coupe feel legitimately quick on the street. It's packed pretty tightly into the engine bay, but plenty of chrome and painted details make it look super-sanitary and with just 2179 miles on the build, it's quite fresh. Accessories are either chromed or polished to look their best and block-hugging headers are bolted to a great-sounding dual exhaust system. It's a TCI chassis featuring a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission spinning a Ford 9-inch rear full of 3.73 gears that makes it punchy but comfortable on the highway. The front suspension is A-arms and coil-overs, while out back a 4-link with another set of coil-overs hooks it up. The raked stance comes from the rolling stock as much as the suspension, with staggered radials on wheels that literally put a twist on the old Torque Thrust design. This is a really impressive rod that's freshly finished and ready to enjoy. Low miles, a great build, and a classic look, all ready to rock. Call today!
