1995 Ford Lightning!! Real deal "R"code!! 1 of 695 built in red for 1995. Here is the story... First, I'm selling because I want a toy that I can fit my whole family in and 3 seats isn't cutting it. Second, this truck has a rebuilt title (NOT a Salvage!) Reasoning for the rebuilt title is, because the first owner had the truck repossessed from him. The truck was taken to a body shop that repossessed vehicles also. From what I have heard the truck sat inside under a cover for 12-13 years and forgotten about. In that time the title had to be rebuilt before it was finally auctioned off, the original title was lost. I have title in hand. The truck shows it has been preserved very well. (Original Paint) Truck runs excellent with the original 351 with 77, xxx original miles. Specs: 240hp, 340lbs torqu, GT-40 design heads, Heavy duty 4-speed automatic O/D trans. 8.8 inch heavy duty limited slip differential / 4.10 gears. No leaks! Truck runs really well! Adult driven its whole life! INTERIOR is about as clean as the day it was bought. One small crack below the speedometer and that's it. Has never been smoked in. Carpet and seats are super clean. Probably Fords most comfortable seats they have ever produced! I have original Lightning floor mats. EXTERIOR is really nice for being a 22 year old truck. Paint is excellent, 1-10 scale I would give it a 8.5-9 rating. ZERO RUST! Always stored in winters, hardly see's rain. There's a few dings and scratches but nothing serious. Rear bumper (Tube) is off the truck, because the last owner backed into something and bent it into the fender. (See pic) I had plans to put a roll pan on and fix the fender, but have decided to sell. Tube bumper goes with truck. The truck has been lowered 3 inches in front and 5 inches in the rear, new wheels and tires which have 85-90% tread left on them! (I do not have the original wheels) Truck sits level and rides really well. Newer front ceramic brakeS. I promise that this truck is as clean as I state it is. It is probably one of the nicest Lightning's left that isn't drag race ready. Turn key and go! Great to take to shows or just a weekend drive. Cash or certified bank check only. Vehicle must be picked up and paid for in full within 7 days of auction, unless special arrangements are approved by me. If you are within 300 miles of my location, then I would be willing to meet you half way for delivery of vehicle. I have my reserve set low for what I think this truck should bring. I get told by so many people daily how nice it is. No surprises here! This truck scores a 34 on the stupid "Auto Check" just because of the rebuilt title but I'm telling you that if it wasn't for that minor issue of being a rebuilt title it would score in the high 80's low 90's because of the original documented 77,XXX miles and how nice this truck shows. You will NOT find a nicer Lightning! If there are any nicer Lightnings around, you probably should leave it in your garage and just look at it.
