Shelby GT 500 Eleanor
For the movie Gone in 60 seconds, 12 cars were originally produced on the basis of Ford Mustang Fastback 1967. The demanding shooting "survived" 7 pieces, which today belong to the jewels of the most prestigious automobile collections. One of them was auctioned for $ 1,000,000 in a US auction in 2010.
The wreck does not mean the end, but the beginning of the story
Our Eleanor is rebuilt from the Mustang GT 390 Fastback 1968. We brought the wreckage from Miami. Used parts are from the original production of Ford Mustang and ShelbyAutomobiles. We started renovating in 2015 and finished it a year later. Eleanor received a veteran attestation.
1. We start with the body
The basis is the steel, self-supporting body Mustang Fastback 1968. Eleanor Elements, laminated body exhaust tailpipes, bonnet buckles, Shelby's fully functional fuel neck and Eleanor special mirrors were added. There are also additional PIAA remote lights and a front grill made of polished aluminum.
2. We renovated the chassis and the engine
Eleanor goes like a watch. The Big-Block Ford type 390 FE with a 6384 cm3 engine capacity with 500 horsepower (373 kW), with the Edelbrock add-on system even 170 hp more (altogether 670 hp). The chassis boasts SSBC disc brakes with all-wheel-cooled wheels and special Shelby American Racing Equipment wheels. There is also a sports stabilizer, sporty Ford Racing springs and a 9-inch rear axle. The rack is equipped with a Flamingriver booster. All rubber mounts were replaced with polyurethane for chassis stiffness.
3. We have tuned the interior
Our Eleanor works as a time machine. Upon arrival, the passengers will enjoy the original seats and the driver's wooden three-wheeled steering wheel Shelby Cobra. There is also a special rev counter Eleanor or manual air conditioning. The Mustang retro car radio takes a lot of fun with the Magnat speaker. The icing on the cake is the Shelby aluminum racing pedals and the 1968 deluxe aluminum trim.
We've changed the wreckage to fantastic experience
The Car is renovated completly, all body parts, everything, for more fotos from renovation and more details email us.
The Shelby GT 500 Eleanor is more addictive than Angelina Jolie in Gone in 60 Seconds. There's no need for those 60 seconds to fall in love with the Car.
