This is a very cool old hot rod that hasbeen restored to modernstandards. Less than 1000 miles have been put on this car since thetotal restoration.
Body: Original all steel body. Very straight and solid. No rust repair that I can find. The top of the hood has some small dents and dings, and has areas where surface rust pitting was kept as patina. I do have another completeoriginal and very nice steel hood with many loovers cut in the top that will go along with the car. Doors close great.Windows roll up and down nicely. Trunk lid works great. Cowl vent still works. Glass is all good.Paint is hot rod black, not justprimer. Top is new and works great. Top frame work is powder coated black.Gauges all work including speedometer.
Chassis: Original Ford frame and all otherchasiscomponentspowder coated red. 4 link rear suspension with 9" Fordrear end.Frontend isstock 34 Ford. Disc brakes up front with custom polished aluminum covers, drums in therear. Vega steering box. This car steers andridesgreat.
Drive line: Mid 60's Mustang 289 engine. Completed rebuilt with small cam. C-4 Trans rebuilt. Shifts great. Runs great. Sounds great. The side pipes are from a 1965 Corvette. The covers and mufflers were not altered so they have a very good resale value if they are not toyourliking. I was on the fence with the look, but I reallyliked the sound, so I left them on. Note: The air cleaner pictured is no longer on the engine. It was lent to me by a friend that wanted it back. I went with a much nicer one and will include pictures of it as soon as I can.
Interior: I do not know what the seat is out of, but it fits the car very well, and it leans forward for access behind it. Thematerial is modern gray fabric, so I threw the Mexican blanket over it for more of a nostalgia look.
Wheels and tires: Those are REAL vintage ET mag wheels with new Coker Firestonereproduction wide white walltires. Car rides and looks great with this combo.
All in all, this is a very cool ride that is very dependable.
Clear 1934 Ford title in my name.
