This is a DAILY DRIVEN 1934 Ford Hot Rod. Now folks, you have all heard the words "daily driven" & mostly that's baloney. This is not daily driven to car shows or functions. I put it together 5 years ago & I drive it every day. In fact, truth be told, it has never seen the inside of a garage as it lives in a California driveway. It lives there during the rain or sunshine. Period. I am an old dude & I think life is too short not to drive a hot rod. It has a 302 Ford engine that runs perfect & a unique three-speed stick top-loader transmission with a 1971 Jeep floor shift top & '38 Ford swan stick. When you look inside the car it looks like it has a '39 box. It also has an 8 1/2" Ford rear end. There ain't no power steering or disc brakes or tilt wheel. It's all old-time hot rod stuff like '40 Ford brakes in the front, 5" dropped axle, Curtis hair pins. It has an 81/2" shortened bed done by me. It has a 3 1/2 " chopped top done by Keith Dean, '32 Ford radiator shell & aluminum radiator. The car never runs hot. The deal on driving this car is this - if you are from NY & you want to come to Southern California to buy it, all you have to do is gas it up & drive it back to NY. I can't stand cars that are not bullet proof reliable. The paint job is done by me in the backyard & is a simple single stage enamel job. ON PURPOSE. It has a hand-made by me 3-piece hood & me being the pain that I am getting things just right, when I made the top of the hood first, I found a radiator shell to be 1" too high so I lowered the radiator shell by notching the front cross member 1". I am an uncommon stickler for details. If it doesn't look absolutely perfect sitting at the curb, I CAN'T STAND IT. I don't care if that is a deuce roadster, or a T-bucket or a '34 Ford Pickup. IF IT DOESN'T HAVE PERFECT CURB SIDE GRACE, I THINK IT IS JUNK. And I don't care who built it. But as for me being the old coot of 73, and been building cars since 1959, they need to look PERFECT. If you have any questions about this car, please call Frank Bird, the once famous Long Island Pinstriper at (951) 658-9386 & I will be happy to sell & ship this car to ANY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. I sold my last Harley to Australia. No big deal. Good luck & God bless.

No not even local show and shine, at my years of life I am though with that stuff . it is built as a STREET Hot Rod and not a show ca, I would say if I washed it more than two time a month it would show just fine . It is sat in and driven just to much for SHOWS .
