Car came out of a 35 year storage period. An elderly man owned this car since 1975 and passed a little over a year and a half ago. He was 90 years old. I bought it last year and had a complete mechanical restoration completed. Because my son needs college money I am looking to sell and let someone else enjoy the car. Included with the sale of the car is a number of old registrations the man had along with a "Sales invoice" from when he bought it.Gaugecluster was rebuilt and new circuitboard and LED lights installed. Cluster is currently disconnected to safeguard circuitry while sitting. The AM radio even works and is currently installed. I also put on a set of new Magnum 500 rally wheels and Tire package. The inside is original and shows decent and clean. It also has all new Power steering components(gearbox is original) and new Power breaks, disc up front and drums rear. The underside is brand new I didn'tput pictures of the underside to show but all is brand new, steering suspension very neat. The outside has original chrome with the exception of a rear bumper that was somewhat recently replaced. The car had both rear quarter panels replaced in the past. Probably back when it was painted about 30 years ago. The rest of the body looks great and all gaps are clean and even. The inside also shows nice but not perfect either compared to when new.I spent over 12K on parts and a substantial amount on labor so this is a deal even if someone wants to do a restomod.
It starts great hot or cold and sounds great. The miles show 22,214 when I purchased the car one year ago. I was told by the estate that that the miles are actual asConnecticut uses the registration and title as one so when I had the engine inspected I did replace the timing chain since the cover was off. I had the motor stripped down anyways to be sure and safe. As usual selling as is . This description is merelymy opinion.I would encourage anyone to come inspect the vehicle or Ebay offers an affordable inspection service for piece of mind. Pennsylvania uses a title so the new owner will receive that signed over by me.
Some of the pictures look like the paint has faded to white, that is the camera as the car is an even color yellow and for the paint being over 30 years old it still shines Awesome. The air cleaner looks old as it was left untouched and looks very cool and retro.Partial new parts list; 1-Peice Dynacorn Floorpan, Torque boxes, Champion 3Row Aluminum Radiator, voltageregulator, Scott Drake HalogenFoMoCo Headlights, B&M Torqueconverter, B&M Flex Plate, Frontand rear Wheel cylinders, Wheelbearings, Wheel hubs, PerformanceBreak Pads, Break Hoses frontand rear, Fuel lines, fuelpump,Front suspension Rebuildwith all new parts, Headlightretaining rings, autolite plugwires, yellow stripe heater hose, alternator mounting kit, waterpump, 55-75 amp alternator, pertronix flame thrower Ignito, 17"Blue Flexlite Fan, AC Condensor, timing Cover, Timing Chain,Bump stops, transmission mount, constant voltage regulator, instrument panel bulb sockets,Constant voltage regulator,Instrument panel LED bulbs,Scott Drake circuit board, RadioNoise Supressor, Alternatorwiring harness, Disk brake frontL/R, Disk break calipers L/R,Break Pistons L/R, break RotorsL/R, Lef springs, Leaf springbolts, pair ADJ.
