1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Delux interior Description

This is as close to a Brand New 1970 as you will find anywhere. I have owned this car for 18 years, purchased out of S Carolina, and then went through a 10 year rotisserie restoration. This was a solid car in good condition when purchased. The owner drove it to Pittsburg, and I flew in completed the purchase, and drove it home to Mi.
The car was in solid condition when purchased, but had typical soft spots of the 69-70 uni-body, and a 35 year old car at that time.
The car was disassembled at Zarnoski body shop in Grand Rapids, and then transferred to Precious Metals Restorations (also in Grand Rapids) where the car was put on the rotisserie and new sheet metal was replaced: floor pans, toe pans, inner and outer wheel housings, fuel tank, rear fender quarters, and front fenders. the car was re assembled with all new parts.
Custom fabricated ford 9" with Detroit locker and 4 wheel disc brakes at D & R driveline. The suspension is all new, with complete poly graphite bushing pkg, new shocks and struts, coils, sub frame connectors, front and rear sway pars. She rides, drives, and corners like a brand new car... amazing really.
The car came with a non-matching 302, so we swapped in a Ford Racing 5.0 roller motor mated to a World Class T5 tranny, with new racing clutch. We retained the original Hurst Shifter and T handle to keep the classic Muscle car look. Supplemental electric fuel pump was added b/c the new fuel sending unit could not keep the Holly 750 supplied.
during re assembly, every nut, washer, bolt, bezel, bushing, trim piece, chrome trim, was replaced. The stereo in the car is the original stereo, and It is not hooked up... there are no speakers in the car, so you'll get to install your own customized system.tilt steering, tach dash, 140 MPH speedo, clock teak trim, center console, new ford carpeting and padding throughout car and trunk.
the Calypso Coral paint is flawless, and has never been wet sanded... what you see is how it was laid down. immaculate.
We have been in a few parades, and a few local car shows.. but really don't drive it enough, I have driven the car less than 2000 Miles since the restoration was complete, and she stays tucked in warm and tight in my 3rd stall. It is time for this car to go to someone who wants a real car to drive. This car is very fast, but still has 355 gears because I did not build it to race. you'll bury the speedo if you want to, and the car rides and corners unlike any other mustang of this vintage.
You could buy a brand new new Porsche Panamera for what I have spent on this car. If you have ever been involved in a car restoration, you know how that goes.
I will sell the car for $55,000 now. If it doesn't sell here, you'll have another chance at Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas in October.
