1929 Model A Express Delivery 79A Ford's first production Panel Trucks which appeared in August 1928 were comprised of Budd-sourced bodies mounted on both the Model A and Model AA chassis. The Model A version was known as type 79A. It had a 57" long 50" wide by 46.5" high cargo area. Standard equipment on each of the 3,744 lb. vehicle included two folding seats and two center opening rear doors. The headlamps and radiator shell were painted black.We are a Model A Restoration Garage. We received this unit as part payment on a client's project. We do not have any history for this truck. This is a wonderful opportunity to preserve history one more vintage truck. Some of the undercarriage and the frame have been powder coated. The engine runs but we have no idea of the overall condition. Front Fenders and other sheet metal included but not shown. It is strongly suggested that a buyer should inspect the truck before purchasing it. Mileage unknown.
