1976 Ford F-150 Ranger Description

I purchased this truck in 2012 from a seller in California as a project for my son & I. My company is relocating me and sadly I must sell with no time to complete to 'parade standards'.

It has 85K original miles. It has been garage kept and it shows. Everything is original from factory except: Added vintage style gaugesThis is the original big block 360 engine rebuilt by machine shop 3,000 miles ago. They did new I mean everything. Pistons, cam, bearings, everything, and all stock. It cost me a bundle, I never planned on selling this truck.I have the original assembled carb in a box that conveys to buyer. Machine shop said to put on a 4bbl on to let the motor breathe better. I used an adapter plate on stock manifold. The passenger side exhaust manifold is known to crack on these motors. To avoid this issue, the truck has Headman headers, but I have original exhaust manifolds (not cracked) in a box that convey to the buyer. You can see in the photos new welded corners on the rear each side of the cab.
Its 4 x 4 and the 4WD, transfer case, drivetrain etc. work like new.
As far as rust is concerned, there are minor areas as seen in photos, like paint bubbling and other surface rust. But overall very solid, including the frame, floors, and bed. The bed has surface rust but nothing thru, and it does have many dents. There is also a dent in the front passenger side quarter panel

I would also advise this truck rides like a real truck. If you want a smooth ride, buy an Escalade. This vehicle was made when trucks were built like tanks. Would also note, if you do not like being stopped by people to talk about your vehicle or ask questions, or to be gawked at while driving, don't buy this truck. My son and I will really miss it.
PS. In response to several questions I've received. The truck does not have A/C, it does have two factory gas tanks. Switch between tanks is on the dash. And it does have brand new tires that were purchased a month ago before I knew I had to sell.
