This is a great car!
Compare at local dealers ... they're asking anywhere from $11,000-12,500.
So about this Ford: It's front-wheel-drive, has 3.0L V6 with 240 h.p., 6-speed automatic. 92,000 miles with great maintenance and I have the records/receipts for oil changes, tires, etc. The engine is a Flex Fuel V6, so it can also run on ethanol as well as gasoline (you can sometimes buy Ethanol for really cheap).
Acceleration is strong, and so is the mileage. In the city the truck gets about 22 mpg. On the highway, we regularly see over 26-27 mpg at a 75mph cruise. The handling is sporty.
This compact SUV is loaded: ABS, A/C (blows Ice Cold), traction control, stability control, sunroof, leather seats, heated seats, power driver's seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Sync, factory upgraded stereo with subwoofer, Sirius radio, CD player, USB/BlueTooth, power driver's seat, cruise control, fold-flat rear seats, under-cargo-floor hidden storage, roof-rack, and the towing package with hitch and wiring (1,500 lb.). I'll throw in the hitch ball. All of the glass is in perfect condition, with no chips or cracks. The rearwindows have the factory dark tints.
As far as safety: The front-wheel-drive traction is excellent in the snow. It of course has anti-lock brakes. Stability control and traction control are also standard on this truck. The rear-view camera is nice, as are the rear-parking sensor sensors. The Escape is very easy to park with these features. Plus, because it's a compact SUV, it's not too big for parking structures or most any parking space.
The car is very clean and EVERYTHING works. Every. Single. Thing.
Local buyers can come take a test drive.
Recent service: New battery (June), new premium Goodyear tires (summer 2016), new windshield to repair crack (June), new engine oil (June). The car passed a recent safety inspection at Belle Tire and I will show you the summary if you come and see the car. The brakes have 50%+ life left and are in perfect working order. The cooling system is perfect.
Issues: Minor stone chips on the hood. A couple minor door dings. A minor bit of surface rust on the right-rear wheel arch. A couple minor scratches on the plastic in the cargo area.
This car is so good I'd sell it to a friend or family member ... but nobody I know needs a car like this now. It's your gain.
Bid with confidence. See my 100% positive e-Bay rating.
Note: A local dealer offered me $7,500 for it. Plus, I've got the car listed on CL and it's in my driveway with a for-sale sign. Get it while you can! I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
