2003 Ford Excursion Limited 4x4 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel RUNS GREAT!
2003 Ford Excursion Limited Description
This is my personal vehicle I have owned for the past year and a half. I have put on 65k miles since I bought it. I know the vehicle inside and out, and honestly am only selling it because I'm bored and want something else. I bought it from a guy on ebay and the first thing was to upgrade the suspension. The stock excursion has terrible springs, and the best setup has been proven by an online vendor CaryT (google him for info). Ford F250 springs with special shocks andstabilizerbars smooth the ride out considerably on and off-road. I added an addition 5" of lift to make sure the 35" tires did not scrub while turning. This suspension cost me $4000, but I do a lot of driving and towing, and didn't want any instability. I have a tow tune currently on the truck to give it a little more juice, but not excessive. I have an aftermarket radio installed, but plan to put the factory radio back in. The leather seats are in very good shape for the miles. Currently the truck has very high miles (315k), but runs very good. I have no problems driving it anywhere in the country. I will say this truck is not perfect. There are scratches here and there in the paint. There is some rust here and there underneath (I took pics), The inside has dog hair in the rugs because I take my dogs with me from time to time. The AC works fine. All the windows roll up and down fine. The tranny shifts fine too. It is NOT bulletproofed. The tires are in very good shape. It still has the EGR too. Truck is all stock drivetrain wise. Interior does have spots in places. This truck is not perfect. I also drive it everyday. I also tow with it all the time across state lines. I have towed forklifts from GA, and VA. I also tow a 24ft enclosed trailer regularly. This truck was not abused, but it does an excellent job working if thats what you need it for. It will continue to be used this way until it sells. If the winning bidder wants me to deliver it anywhere in the country we can work that out as well. Just email me a price BEFORE bidding. I have the clear title in hand. One other thing, if it sells, it sells. If not, I really don't give a damn. I'm not giving it away, and don't ask if I'll take less than the starting bid, as I won't. I forgot to mention I did replace the radiator, coolant reservoir, hoses, and water pump. I had it checked by my mechanic, and the head gaskets weren't leaking. I would get it bulletproofed because it really will make the truck rock solid. If done, the truck could easily go 500k miles. I just never had a reason to, as I couldn't get it to blow up. If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 919-796-9892. I am asking for a $250 deposit from the winning bidder within 24 hrs of auction end. IF YOU COME TO LOOK AT THE TRUCK, AND DON'T LIKE IT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY IT! BUT YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT! Ebay charges me $125 to sell it, so its not like I'm getting rich from it, but I want the winning bidder to feel confident in the truck, and make sure its what they feel they're buying. If you need more pics, just email or text me of what you would like. I did just replace the windshield too. Give me a call anytime with any questions. I have done some amazing things with this truck. It will pull anything and cannot be stopped! I will truly miss this truck when it sells. I know I'm rambling, but call me and I'll keep going.
