1997 Ford F-150 XLT Description

This is such an awesome truck. I hate to sell it but I just don't need it anymore. I will do my best to describe everything but please feel free to ask questions. This is a 1997 Ford F-150 XLT. It is 2 wheel drive. It has the 5.4 liter, 8 cylinder engine. It has an automatic transmission with overdrive. This truck starts and runs great. It does leak oil at the right side valve cover gasket, just needs replacing. I just put in a new radiator. It has power windows, locks, mirrors and seats. It has cruise control. For some strange reason the driver's side window won't go down all the time. Most of the time it does but every once in a while it won't. The passenger side works fine. The power seats work great. The power mirrors need a new switch. The radio isn't working but I think the antenna just came out of the back cause there is static. It has a spot for a CD changer in the back seat. I had a new windshield put in last year, it's in excellent condition. This truck is a 3 door but I cannot get the 3rd door to open. Hopefully it's an easy fix but I don't know, I never cared because the front seats fold forward so people can get into the back seat through the front doors. The interior is in good shape other than having some paint or drywall mud on the seats, it's not that bad and may be easy to remove with some scrubbing. There are no rips or tears in the cloth. There is a crack on the dash above the radio and there is a little peeling paint on the dash to the left of the steering wheel. I'm assuming the truck was used by a carpenter before I bought it. The bed looks like it used to have ladder racks on the passenger side and the bed liner has some paint on it, see pics. It may also come off with some scrubbing. The body and paint are in good condition, not perfect but not bad. The paint on the passenger side front fender is peeling, may just be the clear coat, see pics. I have a half empty spray can of matching auto paint that will be included. This truck has very little rust. The driver's side rocker is the only really noticeable spot, see pics. The front tires aren't too bad but the rear tires should be replaced soon. The rear end went out about 18 months ago, I bought a used one and replaced it. I guess the worst thing about this truck is that it needs a heater core. Previous owners bypassed the core, I assume because coolant was leaking into the cab, they also pulled out the carpet, probably because of the leak. This truck's AC is also controlled by the heater core somehow (I won't pretend to know what I'm talking about, it's just what I read) so the AC is also not working. You may want to research this yourself. Even with the few problems this truck has, it is an amazing vehicle. I completely trust it to get me from A to B. You don't see too many of this style, with the extended cab, step side and short bed. Like I said, it is awesome. It is in fantastic shape for it's age. I hope I've thought of everything but if not please ask and if I don't know I will find out. Thanks!!!
