1964 Ford Mustang Description
This1964 1/2 Mustang convertible, "D" code engine ( only built for 1964 1/2 models and then change to "A" code), built August 5th, 1965, this is a true "one of a kind". VIN #5F08D181897 It was originally modified in 1968 to the current configuration. Stored in a barn in 1972, it has been removed and undergone a complete 3 year restoration and now is upgraded to the current performance specifications.Metal fabrication has been done to the side scoops and blended smoothly into the doors, the hood in fabricating a Mach 1 style NASA hood scoop, special reinforcement of the frame rails for additional strength on a convertible, specially formed housings for the sequential tail lights, a fabricated 350 front lower valence, a GT lower rear valence with trumpet exhaust, a Magna Flow NASCAR "X"X style stainless steel exhaust and much more.
