1940 Ford Tudor Sedan Description

This is a 1940 2DR Sedan Old School Hot Rod. It is a Steel Body with Fiberglass Runningboards. The body is Strait and solid, only the floors have been patched (I have new floor pans that go with it if somebody wants to install them). This car has a 2 inch chop on the roof that was done very nicel, all the door handles tail lights rtc have been shaved off. I have all the inside window moldings that have been cut toi fit the smaller openings along with the headliner bows. There is no interior to speak of, it has a bare dash and there is a filled dash with the parts. I have the rubber moldings for the front and rear glass along with the vent window frames if you want vent windows. I have a set of sargeant stripe tail lights with some extra glass but the openings have been filled. The hood has 80 louvers punched into it. could use some fitting. The frame has a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro front clip grafted to the original frame, it is a good clean job. Rear axle is a Chevy 10 bolt out of a Nova with leaf springs. It is powered by a 350 CID Chevrolet motor with stock 4bbl manifold and a Holly 650 double pumper spread bore carb. shorty headers with glasspack mufflers. Has a newer all brass radiator with bottom trans cooler. I am unsure of the transmission but I think it is good, I have yard driven it but the front brakes stopped working a while back. The brakes are non power drums front and back, it has a manual steering box. I wouldnt even mess with the front brakes, disc brake conversions are very reasonable, there is one here on Ebay minus the two callipers for around $240. The body on this car has been painted a flat black. It is a nice paint job. It wouldnt take much to have this car up and driving, needs a wireing harnes, brakes and front end gone through some glass made up (its all flat so it will be inexpensive} and you could drive it while you finish it, or tear it all down and make a really nice Hot Rod out of it. If you are serious about this car Call Gene at 770-258-3351, I am about 1 1/2 hours from down town Atlanta and I am available to show the car just about any time. We can discuss a buy it now if you really decide this is your next project. There are no titles for cars this old in Georgia and several other east coast states. I will provide a Georgia Bill Of Sale. Ebay requires you list what kind of title, again There Is No Title. Thank You For Looking.
