2008 Ford Crown Victoria Description

Condition - Exterior / Interior:

The dashboard panel is in good conditions, all dashboard gauges and indicators work properly, turn lights, windshield washer and wipers work properly, the radio works fine. As noted, the driver seat cover has normal use wear/imperfections, the rear seat is in near-new condition. As noted in the pictures, all door panels are in very good conditions as well as the headliner. No significant floor carpet wear damage noted.

The rear door locking mechanisms have been re-installed and reactivated; so, passenger may open from the interior as needed. All four power windows are in good working order. There is plenty of space available in the trunk which includes the original Police trunk organizer. A spare tire and jack are present.

The exterior finish is NOT in like-new conditions; consistent with a used law enforcement vehicle. The roof panel must be refinished; it has the standard (2) pre-drilled holes which are currently covered by rubber plugs and there is also an antenna port protective plastic cap installed. There are some minor scratches, dings and/or dents present, there are small spots where the paint came off when the police markings were removed. The most significant dent was visibly noticed by the lower section of the front passenger side door (approx. the size of a quarter coin). There is no significant, if any, undercarriage rust.

Condition / Functional:

There are no pending or active Check Engine alert codes, the power plant is amazingly responsive, no unusual engine noises (if any), the idle speed is perfectly even and steady. The vehicle had an engine oil and filter change service recently completed by the P.D. service center. The transmission shifts flawlessly. The A/C system is in excellent conditions, it was recently overhauled, making it a very desirable car for those dry and hot states. No fluid leaks have been noticed while the vehicle has been parked/stored.

The steering system is accurate, the vehicle drives straight, and the tires have 10/32” tread depth (average). The suspension is quiet, firm (as expected in a Heavy Duty equipped vehicle) but pleasant, no rear end/differential noise. The vehicle just had all brake rotors and pads installed, they are still in the break-in interval.

Very well maintained, in above average operational condition.
