100 Pictures - VIDEO walk around
Hey, thanks for stopping by and checking out my 1930 Ford Model A, great car, I just love the look of this car, the color combination is just suburb in my opinion. These Fordor models are great, lots of room, you can take your friends out, easy to get in and out of, lots of storage if you like to take tours with other folks, and keep all your stuff nice and dry. This car would be great for weddings as well. I had thought about trying to figure out how to keep this one, because I already had a wedding scheduled for it this summer, it is just a striking looking car, especially with the red wheels and wide whites. These are perfect for summer, and winter cruising, sure I like a nice little roadster, but only when weather will allow. I like to get out and drive, and that is what makes the hobby really fun for myself. I got this little Model A from a good friend of mine here in Oregon, it was his pride and joy. He asked me to help sell it for him, its a great little car, but he and his wife have realized they have some other ventures they want to achieve after retirement, and it is time to pass the torch on this sweet little car. I included a Video link, and over 100 photos. The car is in great shape, so take your time and study the pictures, watch the video a few times. I try to go over as much as I can, but hard to hit every single thing I notice or don't notice. If you have questions, give me a jingle I would be happy to talk with you about the little A. Thanks, Jason 503-910-2085
The condition of this car is very nice. It looks great, all steel original body in great condition. The door open and close nice and line up great, hard to find on a vehicle like this. The front fenders are all steel, splash aprons are steel as well. The rear fenders are fiberglass. The body is nice and straight when you look down the sides, the fenders look great as well. The paint is in nice condition, there are a few flaws, that you will see in pics and video. I tried to point out the most obvious things. The biggest flaw is in the drivers side splash panel, were you can see the paint lifting some, do not push on it, or it will crack, the best thing would be to do, is first leave it, or if you want to sand it back out, and repaint the slash apron, that could be done as a weekend project. Also at one point it got a gas leak, and it leaked down inside the car, and got behind the paint, on the passenger side of the cowl, and it lifted the paint a little bit at the bottom of the cowl, you can see a couple small bubbles and imperfections. The fuel line has all be repaired and such so that is not an issue at this time anymore, it happen, so he fixed it right away. The glass all looks in good shape, the doors open and close, and windows all open as they should. There are some small chips on hood hinges, piano hinge on hood etc. The paint I would say on the car is maybe 10-15 years old. Overall, it is very presentable and looks great for a very nice driver, parade car.
Interior is in great shape, all redone, matching door panels, and seats, headliner, very clean, non smoker. Everything looks good inside the car. You can see a little clear on the instrument panel, on the edges has lifter a tiny bit but over all you have to look close to notice. Overall I like the interior a lot, best thing is there is a ton of leg room inside this car, so if you are tall, especially for a driver over 6' it is great. The previous owner is around 6' 2" and it was great.
Mechanically it is in pretty nice condition, it does start right up and idles good. If you never driven one of these before, they are easy, just have to have your gas mixture correct, and spark advance in the right spot, they all function the same, but they all sit a little different. It does run good, and goes down the road just fine. It has an EZ steer steering box on it, which is a nice add. One thing I did not put in my video, is there is a little play in the steering box, this is not a box I have had before, people say they are great. There is a little wonder in the steering wheel, so maybe it needs to be adjusted I do not know, I would say there is about a 1/4 play in the wheel. The engine is not the original to the car, its ID number on engine is AA1567150, the Oregon DMV went ahead and put an Assigned VIN on the door jam on the drivers side, so it could be visible identification, which is common on some of these old 20's and 30's rigs. Its ID is 0R90369, I show pics of it and clean title. The brakes work good, and it stops nice and straight. The lights all work good as well.
So please ask questions I will try my best, study the pictures there are over100, watchVIDEOand read the description a couple times,I would be glad to answer any questions that you may have. Thanks, Jason 503-910-2085

What I love about these old cars, is that I get to own some of my favorite cars one at a time, I have turned this passion into a business, but for me it is an awesome time to enjoy the cars themselves. It has been such a joy to do business with people all over the world. I have sold multiple cars to many buyers all over from Europe, Dubai, Australia, Japan, Brazil, just to name a few. It has always been a pleasure, getting to know other car enthusiast all over the Continent, especially some that have become very good friends of mine because of our love for cars.

If you would like to call me and talk about the car, that would be great, would love to help you out, if you want to call we would love to talk cars. Please, come out and personally take a look at this vehicle in person before you bid or send a friend or inspector, or transporter, always better if possible to see it with your own eyes, I am close to major airport, and easy to get to. These are classic vehicles, with lots of history, almost years old, so they are used, not perfect, they don’t have warranties, or guarantees, they are as is, where is, nothing else is promised, I can’t possibly explain every little thing about a vehicle in writing, believe me I've tried, lol, seeing in person is always best, so please come and see it before you bid, send a friend etc, you are not bidding on it to make a decision to purchase later, do you home work first, I try to give an good description, and normally over 75 photos at least, so you can get a good gauge of what it is, and isn’t. Look forward to hearing from you, please give me a call, 503-910-2085 - Jason
