1969 Ford Mustang Pro Touring Description

Hello and thank you for checking our 1969 Mustang Fastback with Detroit Speed andEngineering full line of Mustang products installed. For more details on their products, please visitdetroitspeed com.
History: Car is a factory original 6 cylinder 3 speed manual car. It came from El Paso Texas, where it spent all of its life with one owner. It had no rusted panels, truly a solid dry weather car. All sheet metal is factory except for the front and rear lower balance panels.
Modifications: Detroit Speed and Engineering Aluma-Frame front suspension system (this car has Aluma-Frame #20 from DSE). DSE shock tower delete panels, DSE sub-frame connectors, DSE Quadra-Link rear suspension with MOSER 9" rear end 3.73 gears, DSE mini-tubes, DSE fuel tank and electronic control fuel management system, DSE custom long tube headers, DSE steering linkage and rack & pinion. The DSE suspension gives this car the driving characteristics of a new high end sports car.
Engine/Transmission/Exhaust: The engine is a new, from FORD racing, Coyote 5.0. dyno at 430 HP. The transmission is Magnum T-56 6 speed manual, aluminum drive shaft, and hydraulic clutch (all from American Power Train). The car was custom tune by Fuel Injection Specialties of San Antonio Texas. The exhaust system is stainless steel custom made and tig welded with Magnaflow mufflers.
Brakes: 13" drill andslottedrotors, 6 pistoncalipersBAER disc brakes all around, The parkingbrake is form E-Stopp Brakes (electronic control system).
Radiator is from Be Cool systems. Dual computer control electric fans.
Paint is a factory Ford mix named Oxford White. The secondary color is custom mixed to match the factory Shelby GT SVT wheels (gum metal gray).
Wheels and Tires came off a brand new 2014 Shelby GT. These wheels are original SVT 20" in the rear and 19" in the front .
Interior: front seats are Recaro Ergomed ES power seats. Rear seat is the original, upholstered in the same lether to match the Recaro seats.The rear seat retains the factory fold down funtion. Head liner is one piece from Mustangs to Fear. Custom carpet and floor mats. Instrument cluster is from Dakota Digital VHX line.
AC/Heater: New Gen 5 Sure-Fit Vintage Air unit. The car wassprayed with two coats
of Lizard Skin Spray-On Insulation (both thermal and sound formulas were used under
the car and inside the car floors. Interior fire wall,quarter panels, roof, and trunk
areasreceived the same Lizard Skin treatment). To add to thecomfort level the inside
floor, roof panel, doors, and quarter panel were covered with Dynamat. Add to all of
thatthe jute padding andcustom carpet from theupholstery shop, it makes for one
quietcomfortableride.
Custom Audio System Withhiddenamplifier and boom box.
The only Car Show or publicexhibition of this car was done at theOctober 2014Good Guys Show in Texas. Where the care was selected as theGoodguys 2014 Worldwide Muscle Machine of the Year finalist.
