I am selling a 1997 Saleen mustang 5 speed with a single turbo. The car only has 47,442 miles on it with no rust issues. The car is garaged and only taken out in dry weather. The interior is in nice shape with no rips or tears on the leather. This is an authentic Saleen and comes with the build sheet from the dealer. Also included is the factory bra that came with it back in 1997. The car is in great condition for the year and is alot of fun to drive. The paint has some chips, scratches, and spider cracks on the bumpers which is a known issue with the 90's S281 but nothing major and still shines. Currently the car has a bit of a ruff idle after warm up and occasionally will stall if parked and idling. I believe it just needs to be tuned as currently its running on a stock setup with a C&L maf and 42lb injectors so the stock ecu might be having a hard time figuring things out. No issues once driving and the turbo kicks in around 2500 rpm. The exhaust sounds awesome and the turbo spooling up is a nice touch. The motor and rear end was built by the previous owner to handle the extra power from the turbo. I have receipts for the work and will include them with the car. The abs light is on but i have been told its the sensor on the front passenger side. Also the cars AC system is in place but its missing the high pressure hose as it was leaking and i have not had a chance to replace it. The car is registered and passed emissions this summer. Purchased them to replace the older ones currently on the wheels.
Spare parts included with the car:1. Stock headlights and parking lights.2. Stock coil packs.3. A spare turbo .80 a/r. This one is larger then the one currently on the car. This alone goes for a few hunder dollars.4. aftermarket cd player with stock cubby slot to eliminate stock cd player. 5. Pro m maf calibrated for 60lb injectors. will need to be re-calibrated if you want to use it on this car.6. Extra turbo clamps.7. 9lb waste gate spring. one currently installed is 3-5 lb spring.8. Factory maf and housing.9. Factory bra.10. A set of larger ford brake calipers with pads and hoses.
