1928 Ford Model A 82A Description

Beautiful restored 1928 Model A Pickup by Bert's Model A Ford in Denver, Colorado. Runs, steers, and drives like a new one. This truck has a high compression Thomas head, a Weber carburetor, and a Mallory distributor that allows it to scoot down the highway easily at 50-55 miles per hour. “Black Beauty” has a counter-balanced crankshaft, inserted connecting rods, new rings and piston pins, a rebuilt starter, rebuilt shift tower and a new leak-less water pump. The radiator is a two row 10 fins per inch one. There will be no overheating, even when idling. You will also note the conversion to 12 volt and a electric fuel pump and the metal valve stems in the inner tubes. All gauges work and all electricalcomponents function as they should.

I have added some sound proofing material to the roof, floorboard, and on the cowl in the engine compartment. I have driven this truck on below freezing days while wearing a coat, the engine heat was sufficient to keep me comfortable.

The truck has beenregularlymaintained and garaged in a climate control setting when not in use. I haveenjoyed the pickup but it needs a new home, to someone else who can drive and enjoy as I have.
