1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302
This car is unbelievable ! This car was acquired from an auction. It reads 10,950 mile, and based upon the condition of the car and certain wear indicators, it is believed to be the actual mileage. However, the mileage can not be documented, and the car will be sold as "mileage exempt" per it's current, clear Michigan title. It is essentially a survivor Boss 302 with 90% original and unrestored parts. The car has been professionally detailed, and the engine was "freshened up" by a well known engine shop. The car is ready to join a new collection, enter any show, or just hit a cruise night.
It has been repainted in its' original Acapulco Blue color at some point in its' life, definitely many years ago, I would guess in the mid 80's. It has all of the correct markings, accents and insignias. The paint shows well, but is not the same as a Rotisserie restored vehicle.
The wheels are correct dated, Ford Stamped, original, Boss 302 Magnum 500's (15x7, 2" Centers, Satin Chrome Center with optional Black accent color in lug wells) that are believed to be the ones on this car at delivery. They are in excellent condition for 37 year old wheels. They are not perfect. I installed 4 brand new F60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GT Bias Ply tires. The original spare tire & wheel are in the trunk.
This '69 Boss 302 is powered by a 302 cubic inch H.O. (290 HP) V8 engine, paired with the Optional Toploader Close Ratio 4 speed manual transmission and the optional Traction-Lok Differential with optional 3.91 gears.

This is one of 1,627 Boss 302's produced in 1969. Only 275 of them were painted in the highly desirable Acapulco Blue, and only 34 of those received the much preferred Deluxe Interior. Add in all of the performance options and extra appearance options, and this is easily one of the most desirable Boss 302's on the planet. It is a solid #2 condition car, and even though the documentation is lacking, all numbers match. It is easily one of the finest Boss 302's to become available for sale in quite some time.
