1929 Ford Tudor sedan flathead hot rod custom 50's style rich kid car
1929 Ford Other Description
This is truly a one of a kind build! This 29 Ford was a labor of love between myself and. A good friend of mine unfortunately it took 12 years to get it on the road and my life has changed quite a bit since then. So it's time to let it go.
The frame has been boxed for rigidity, the motor currently has a blown head gasket on the driver side but was pretty much fully rebuilt including new heads and hardware when it was put back together so we suspect it was a bad gasket. Dual original 97 carbs rebuilt, channeled and dropped with custom drilled I beam. Custom pedals and linkage, vega stearing box with custom linkange. New cooker wheels and tires. New brakes custom drilled. New custom radiator built specifically to get the look of for this car. We retained the back seat and added the battery box. Modified original seats. The only "modern " modification was really the transmission which is a T5 we felt that this was appropriate in order to really enjoy and drive the car. I know I'm forgetting a million things but allllllll the paperwork (about 4 folders full) is filled for everything that was ever done to this thing. Oh the original tank was cleaned and resealed. Any other questions just ask.
This car is worth well into the 30,000 dollar range but I'm willing to take a huge loss just to move it.
On Aug-07-17 at 13:13:41 PDT, seller added the following information:A few additional notes, as ebay will not let me edit the listing The carbs are not 97s they are holly 94s, the rear is out of a 64 mustang, rebuilt with 411 gears, the motor block is stock with a truck cam. The body is unmolested and original no chop or bondo no rust no repairs, the paint is from what we can tell enamel reproduction from the 70s but looks original (Ford green). All gauges work minus the voltage. New float in the tank original gas gauge works. Temp gauge works. Original ooga horn does work intermittently, we could never figure out why. Top has been treated and garage kept its hole life. Leaf springs all around no modern coil overs. I wish I could put up more pictures but I'm limited with that too. It drives straight as an arrow and before thenhead gasket blew started up every time with no issues. The only thing you need to really do is connect the e brake and get and overflow catch of somekind for the cooling system (neither are needed to drive the car) any other questions just ask! Any other pictures needed just ask
