2004 Ford F250 Crew SB SRW Lariat Bulletproof New 35" Tires Lifted
2004 Ford F-250 Lariat Description
Up for sale is my 2004 F250. Truck has served me well for the past 5 years of my ownership. I am only selling as I bought something a little newer. And if I could afford to keep two trucks on the road, I would still be hanging onto it. Truck has been smoke free since I've had it. And has only been used to haul a load here and there, and tow a light trailer though it has a full class 3 hitch with wiring and tow package. Truck comes with a tool box and bedliner. I also have a remote start system that integrates with the factory lock remote, I just never got around to getting it installed. The truck has a block heater, and when plugged in during the winter you can come out to a warm truck ready to roll.
Immediately upon purchasing the vehicle in 2012, I bulletproofed the engine with EGR Bypass, new oil cooler, fuel pressure spring change to the International part, and addressed issues with two of the injectors, #7 and #8. Both were replaced. At that time, there was a noted issue with the alternator and a new one was installed. Two new batteries were purchased and installed about two years ago. Receipts for those items come with the truck. The truck has a straight piped exhaust from the turbo back. It came this way, and sounds great. But just be advised it won't pass emissions without a DPF in most states. Just passed VA vehicle inspection.
All of the systems on the truck work as they should. Power windows work, locks work, key fob works, cruise control works, AC blows cold with zero coolant leaks. We just got back from a 500 mile eclipse chasing trip with the truck and it performed perfectly.
In 2014 the HPOP was replaced along with several other requisite systems and sensors. The LPOP was replaced in 2016, as was the water pump and fan clutch.
Brake rotors, pads and calipers were replaced in the rear in 2016. Front rotors and pads just changed 500 miles ago. Tires are approximately 4000-5000 miles old and are Kelly Safari TSR's. 315/75r16 which is pretty much a 35x12.50. Tuck is lifted about 4" and clears the tires nicely even under articulation. Lots of flex for mostly stock components. There is a tiny bit of rub against the front springs at full lock left or right. These tires perform extremely well in all conditions. Clean well in mud, and grab hard in snow. I've pulled more than a few friends out of ditches in the winter without any drama.
The truck could use new shocks all the way around, and possibly a new steering stabilizer. The bushings for the front sway bars were replaced in 2013 with polyurethane and are still nice and tight. The hubs no longer auto-lock as is typical with the Ford vacuum system, however lock in manually with no issues.
The coolant degas bottle developed a leak approximately 6 months ago and was replaced with a used but good unit as were the hoses and the cap.
The truck has been routinely serviced with Rotella oil, and the transmission fluid was changed about 3000 miles ago. The transmission temperature sensor was causing an issue and was replaced about a month ago.
The RBP steps have been on the truck for about 5 months. I have the stock steps as well and they will come with the truck.
I really don't know what else to say about the truck. It is a member of the family, and yes, it has its dents and scrapes. The driver's seat could be replaced, and there are a couple of dents on the fenders. But the truck fires up, runs strong, sounds killer and does everything I've ever asked it to do. It has had Weathertech floor mats the entire time I have had it, and the interior is in pretty good shape for a truck of this age. Some cleanup could be done, but there isn't really any damage, burns or stains that couldn't be remedied aside from the torn driver's seat and the center console box needing some attention.
I have the truck listed locally as well, so I reserve the right to close this auction early. Please don't bid if you don't intend to pay. Truck is sold as-is, keeping in mind it is 13 years old and has nearly 200k miles and has been used for the things a truck gets used for... No warranties expressed or implied other than any that may accompany recently installed items. Title in hand obviously. Any questions, just ask. BIN is fair in my opinion. Reserve is very near that same mark. I will do my very best to allow the auction to run if bidders are near the reserve.
Cheers. Thanks for looking!!
