I have personally driven this Excursion and I want to tell you that she runs very good mechanically and looks really nice overall. As you can see in the many detailed photos taken, the "Oxford White" exterior shines like the Florida sun. She looks great for the year. The strong 6.8L, V10 engine feels solid and has plenty of power. The engine is mated to a 4-speed, automatic, transmission, with overdrive, that shifts smooth and right on time, no hard shifts. Passenger room for eight! It's great to travel in. It's a great people carrier. On the inside, the "Medium Parchment" leather interior is very good shape for the year, no rips, no odors, overall looks nice. This SUV has everything going for it. She also features a high seating position for a better view of the road Ford is OVERLY cautious about their owner's safety. That is what I like so much about Ford.
