1969 Ford F-100 Ranger Description

Super nice 1969 Ford F100 Ranger Long bed. 2WD. 360-2V with C6 automatic. Power steering and Power Drum Brakes. Very clean and virtually rust free. My son bought this about 6 months ago froman 87 year old gentleman whoowned itsince 1972. The previous ownerkept it undercover every night and rarely used it. He said the mileage of110K is original. He had it painted the original color about 10 years ago. Ford calls itCordova. He also had the interior restored with new carpet, seat covers. We installed aCustom Auto Sound deck and dual speakers mounted in original under-dash position. Previous owner also stated original 360-2V engine and C6 transmission were rebuilt about 10K miles ago.I have not way to verify this. The engine runs strong but does have a slight rear main oil leak.We replaced the carb with a new Holley 2BBL and hooked up the original manual choke. The truck starts right up almost without the use of the choke. Tires are brand new with less than 500 miles. Shocks were replaced 2 weeks ago.

The truck is in super nice condition. We found one small rust spot under the radiator but that is it. Seams in bed look great. Tail gate is rust free and straight.Looks like a Line-XBed liner was sprayed over a super straight bed floor. The exterior paint is very nice but has a couple spots.Small bubbles on one spot of the hood. Chips in back right bed corner. The upper bed also looks a bit darker than the doors but you have to get it in the right light to notice it. Roofgutter has some gold paintalong the passenger side due to cracked sealant but I see no evidence of rust. Remember the 87 year old owner stayed on top of everything he saw that needed attention. This is a truck you can getin and drive now.Getting hardto find them this nice.

You are limited to 12 pictures on an Ebay standard listing but I have also posted an additional 39 photos on my website. They show much more detail of some minor flaws and include underside shots. Click on the link below:
