Former U.S. Secret Service P71 Motorcade car. Escort duty and surveillance only
2007 Ford Crown Victoria P71 w/street appearance pkge. NO RESERVE Description
This car has just passed New York State inspection and is driven daily. Included are two sets of wheels and NEW tires. Powerful, white LED headlights. 5 Winter wheels are factory stock 17 inch with new Michelin ice tires. Summer wheels are 4 18" BBS aluminum, 8 inches wide, made especially for Ford P71's. The new BBS wheels original cost: $2,000. New summer tires are mounted. NEW factory 4.6 PI engine was Ford Dealer installed right in Washington DC 34,000 miles ago. The car now has 124,674 miles. Recent maintenance included 8 new iridium spark plugs, 8 new ignition coils, new transmission fluid and filter, synthetic 5-20 motor oil w/filter, K&N air filter. The car will run on any gas, even 87, but it LOVES 91 octane. Engine runs smooth and quiet, unless you get on it, then she roars. In overdrive on the open road, she soars. (She has the "Interceptor chip" and a specially calibrated XHD transmission with trans. cooler, oil cooler, 220 amp alternator! And an aluminum driveshaft.)
Brand new premium rear brake rotors and top of the line ceramic pads. Its crazy fast. Although I've never had it over 125 mph, I understand it goes 150+ and I believe it. It has a 3.27 rear axle, NOT the 3.55, so highway gas mileage is 20+. Around town you should remember to click off the overdrive. It also has a Traction-Lok rear axle (Ford's version of Positraction.) Owner's Manual in the glove box (important that you read it regardless of what you think you know about these cars.) Everything works - even the digital clock! Interior map lights are LED's, as are the license plate lights.
These rear doors WILL open from the inside, unlike ordinary police cars. Bullet-proof front doors and stab-proof front seat backs. Power driver's seat with power adjustable lumbar. Front seat is a luxurious, comfy, cloth, full width split bench with 2 armrests. Not those awful little P71 buckets with the big space between them. There are wiring and antennae hookups for two-way radio, CB radio, cell phone, Air horn, siren, and PA system. Tilt steering wheel, wood-grain dash and door trim (no holes in the dash or the headliner, or the floor) Car has NEVER had any accidents. If you have any questions I haven't answered, just drop me a line. I started the bidding at $4900 because a lot of the people that look for P71's are Taxi drivers and bargain hunters. This car deserves better than that. (Tan trench coat not included.....)
