1968 Ford F-250 Base Description

This old '68 4x4 has been an Idaho truck for it's entirety. It has seen hard-work, and show's the signs of years of faithful service. Being used in a dry western climate, there's very little rust present. We did find a small Nickle sized are on the floorboard, as pictured. Cab mounts, cab corners both solid. Biggest downside is that every body panel this truck has been abused, dinged, or dented. See up-close photos for thepictorialreview of the worst of it.Lot's of character, which may be perceived as charm?
This would be an excellent truck to start with for a mudder, puller, or working truck. Potentially even a restoration if ambitions proved high?
The engine is questionable. Last road-legal registration was 2016. The previous owner pulled the passenger valve cover, apparentlylooking for a mis-fire. We believe she could run again, and would entertain pursuing that for you upon an agreed upon price. This 360 FE could also be replaced with another from our inventory, or a 390. Original paint and base-line trim (no trim!) makes this a pretty neat pickup. It would be awesome fully restored. However maybe what you have in mind is different? Full body swap,mud-bog, tow - whatever, I'm sure this old Highboy won't disappointfor the low no-reserve price.
Make note of the factory Locking rear differential.She'd go anywhere..
