2015 Ford F-350 Lariat Description

If you are looking for a clean used 2015 F350 Dually 4x4 Crew Cab LWB this is the truck. They don't come any cleaner. This truck has really been taken care of. Ford has done all the maintenance and service work. No accidents. No floods. Not a northern vehicle with salt issues. Not a coastal vehicle with salt or flood issues.

Has had canvas seat covers on seats and scotchguard on carpets since a few months old. Mileage is highway miles running empty. Towing mileage minimal percentage of total miles. Minimal idling. Never had a gooseneck hooked up. Largest trailer towed is 14,000 PJ T8 Tilt trailer with about 9,000 lbs on it.

We have land 9 miles away that I have towed a Kubota L4060Utility Tractor out to about 3 or 4 dozen times max. We have a farm about 80 miles away I have towed the same tractor to about 3 times. We have a commercial property I have towed a Kubota ZG327 zero turn to on a small single-axle trailer less than 3 dozen times. So very minimal towing. The truck is rated at 19,000 lbs from the receiver and 23,500 lbs from gooseneck hitch. So towing less than half what it is rated for and minimal miles at that.

Most of these used trucks have had their guts pulled out. This one has not. It has never been stuck. Never driven through water. Very minimal gravel roads - less than 100 miles total and probably more like 50 (there is 7 miles of gravel to get to farm 80 miles from here and it has been on it max a half-dozen times.)

This truck is bone stock. No programmer has ever been on it. Ford is the only one who have ever touched it. Many used ones have had a programmer on them.

You want a 15 and up Ford diesel. The 15 plus year models have the same internals as the 2017 models. Same engine. Same transmission. Many upgrades over the 2011 to 2014 models. More power and more durable.

I am selling it because I never bought the larger trailer to pull heavier equipment that I initially intended to. So I just don't need this big and capable of a truck to tow 10,000 lbs occasionally for short distances and it doesn't make sense to run the diesel dually on the highway if not pulling. I had initially thought I would get a gooseneck trailer that could tow my John Deere 4555 (about 19,000 lbs) but have just had John Deere come out to the farm and work on it there when required. So I am just not using the truck for the heavy towing I thought I might when I got it.

Ford has done all the service. Only Motorcraft oil and fuel filters and Motorcraft synthetic blend oil have been used. It had both fuel filters replaced at the last service about 4,000 miles ago.

The interior and exterior are as clean as you will find in a used truck. Not cleaned up after being dirty - never dirty. Not touched up - never messed up.

Don't miss a chance to get a really good truck for a great price. Save tens of thousands in purchase cost, taxes, and insurance over a new truck with same capabilities. Ford has not changed any of the mechanical parts of the engine or transmission since 2015. They are running a bit different programming to up the horsepower and torque but you can do the same with a programmer. All of the internal updates were madefor 2015 year model.

If you are looking at a used Ford Diesel you want a 2015 and up year model. Ford totally reworked the internals of their 6.7 turbo diesel for the 2015 year model. All prior models with the 6.7 diesel do not have these upgrades which make the engine stronger, more durable, and capable of putting out even more power with programming upgrades.
The 2015 and up second-generation Scorpion 6.7L Power Stroke diesel has a larger Garrett GT37 turbocharger, which replaced the Garrett GT32 single sequential turbo (SST), a variable geometry unit which featured twin compressor wheels mounted on a single turbine shaft. The GT37 features a single, larger 88-millimeter (ind/exd: 63.5mm/88mm) compressor wheel with a 72.5mm turbine size, larger than the 64mm of the GT32. The turbocharger is simpler, more reliable, and provides more airflow and power. More power necessitates fuel system improvements. 2015 and newer year models also have a new high-pressure fuel pump and fuel injectors, along with all-new injector tips, and a new exhaust temperature sensor.
Increased horsepower and torque necessitates a handful of other enhancements to increase strength and improve reliability. So the 2015 and up trucks also have a new torque converter for the 6R140 TorqShift six-speed transmission; improved crankshaft fillet design; increased crankshaft damper weight; new five-layer head gasket; added material to cylinder heads, exhaust manifold and valvetrain; redesigned turbo oil and cooling lines; piston assembly upgrades; iROX polymer coated lower main bearings; and four-layer exhaust manifold gaskets.
If you want to read more about the durability and power changes by model year you can read more here: http://www.powerstrokehub.com/6.7-model-year-changes.html

If you are in the market for a used Ford 6.7 diesel you want a 2015 or newer and not a 2011 through 2014 which are significantly different (less durable) internally compared to the 2015 and newer trucks.
Diesel Engine is under warranty until November 2020 or 100,000 miles. The rest of the drivetrain is under warranty until November 2020 or 60,000 miles.
Your vehicle's direct injection diesel engine and certain engine components are covered during the PowerStroke Diesel Engine Coverage Period, which lasts for five years or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The following parts are covered during this extended coverage period: the engine, cylinder block, heads and all internal parts, intake and exhaust manifolds, timing gear, harmonic balancer, valve covers, oil pan and pump, water pump, fuel system (excluding fuel lines, fuel tank and frame mounted fuel conditioning module sometimes referred to as the frame mounted pump/filter/water separator or frame mounted fuel filter/water separator), high pressure lines, gaskets and seals, glow plugs, turbocharger, two-stage turbocharger assembly, turbocharger actuator, powertrain control module, high pressure fuel injection pump assembly, injectors, injection pressure sensor, fuel rail pressure sensor, exhaust back pressure regulator and sensor, exhaust pressure sensor, manifold pressure sensor, intake air temperature sensor, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, accelerator switch.

Exterior:
The exterior is in near perfect condition. No dings, dents or scratches. There might be a half-dozen very small paint chips. One on the edge of the hood and the rest on the rear fenders are all I can find. Maybe a little tar and a few bugs that need to be cleaned off. But for the most part the truck is like it came from the factory. No cracks or chips or repairs in the windshield. The paint is clean and shiny. No scratches. No hail damage. Never in a flood. Never even stuck. A southern truck so very clean and rust-free underneath as well. The bed has a rubber liner so with the exception of a few small scratches on the fender wells inside the bed it looks new too.
Nothing has been touched-up and I doubt you will find a cleaner Superduty truck anywhere.
Interior:
I always buy the factory rubber mats that are form fitted. Then I buy weather-guard rubber mats contoured to the specific vehicle. So there is double protection from mud and dirt. Then I treat the interior cloth and carpets with Scotchguard protectant to prevent dirt from sticking and stains. Then I treat the leather with leather conditioner / protectant. It shows. I also put canvas made-to-fit seat covers on the seats to protect them from wear, dirt, stains.
As a result the interior is as near new as possible. Again, you won't find a cleaner used Superduty anywhere.
ARE Topper / Camper:
The ARE Fiberglass Truck Cap Mx Series with Walk-In Door, Interior Liner, and Pet Guard options. The cap costs $3,000 new before options. It is the style that has a big "liftgate" with "walk-in" glass door that replaces the tailgate. I also have the standard rear camper door new in a box that has never been installed. So you can use with or without a tailgate but I never took the walk-in door off. The cap plus the extra standard door would cost you $3,300 plus taxes so over $3,500 new.
If you want the camper with both doors that is $1,000 extra on top of theauction price of the truck. If you don't want it I will take it off and sell the truck without it. ARE CAMPER TOP IS NOT INCLUDED IN AUCTION
Tires:
Tires are the worst thing on the truck. They have about 60% treadremaining. Not in bad shape at all and you can easily get another 20,000 plus miles out of them.
Options:
Be sure to pay attention to the options on this truck. Few are equipped like it is and that gives it more value. Besides factory options I have added molded mud flaps and skid plates. It has virtually every option including sunroof, power rear window, heated and cooled seats, navigation, power heated trailer tow mirrors, rear defrost, etc. But it also have some rare options like heated rear seats and instant heat which uses electric coils to quickly warm up the cabin when it is cold. This truck is loaded.
Price:
The truck is priced very fairly considering the options it has, how it has been used and the condition it is in. There are very few listed online for less than $50,000. None that I know of with this few miles or this many options with no damage history and great maintenance history.
You can find a cheaper truck. It will have more miles, less options, or be in inferior condition cosmetically or mechanically.
You won't find a better overall value. This truck has been lightly used, perfectly maintained and well cared for and it shows. It will pay dividends in the future. With the options, accessories, number and type of miles, as well as the condition this truck is worth more. It will give you less trouble than a used truck that has been used hard, not maintained well.

It isn't the absolute cheapest F350 Dually Diesel 4x4 Crew Cab you can find but it is likely one of the absolute best used trucks on the market at a fair price.
