2004 Ford Excursion Limited Description

VERY clean 2004 Excursion Limited diesel 4WD for sale with 214,000 miles on it, only about 3000 of which are since all of the engine work performed below. She runs great with no mechanical issues whatsoever.
The interior is extremely clean. It has the entertainment package that includes DVD player and rear screen, keyless entry, heated seats, rear A/C with rear controls, third row seat, adjustable accelerator/brake pedals, on-the-fly 4x4 selector, and electric rear vent system (rear side glass opens to allow for ventilation). The only interior issues are typical wear and tear on the driver's seat leather (see picture), but not as much as you'd expect for this year model, and the CD player will not load/eject discs for some reason.
The exterior is also very clean and looks terrific with new tires/wheels and the front steel full replacement bumper. There is one dent on the passenger rear column behind the rear side window (no paint missing, just a fist sized dent). No rust anywhere on the body and everything is in good working condition. You won't find a cleaner 2004 model out there.
Here are the upgrades/updates in the last year or so:
Bulletproofed the 6.0L diesel motor (all work professionally done by Powerstroke Magic and I have the receipts) - $6404
- Engine completely removed, torn down to heads
- ARP head studs
- New head gaskets
- All new lifters (16)
- New rocker carrier gaskets
- EGR bypass
- New oil cooler
- New oil pressure sending unit
- Resealed everything - intake, fuel housing, front/rear cover, oil pan, high pressure oil pump (HPOP)
- New glow plugs (8) and both glow plug harnesses
- Replaced exhaust gaskets with ones from 2008 model
- Banjo bolt / blue spring kit
- Upper radiator hose replaced
- New thermostat, upper radiator hose, oil drain plug, firewall heater hose, water pump, top hot side CAC boot, radiator cap, heater control valve, 4x4 electric vacuum solenoid, high pressure power steering line
- Replaced 3 injectors (all others tested perfectly)
Replaced the entire A/C system (front and rear), including compressors, evaporators, blowers, and lines (Professionally done by Powerstroke Magic) - $3300
New Firestone Destination M/T mud terrain tires (35x12.5x20) and XD wheels (less than 2000 miles on them) - $2600
New Bilstein front shocks, Skyjacker dual inline steering stabilizer, front bump stops - $400
New 4WD actuator vacuum switch
As you can see, I have well over $13k in improvements on this truck in the last two years (over $25k total invested), and this Excursion is ready to go for the next owner!
