2001 Ford F-150 Description

For auction is a really sweet 2001 Ford Lightning with a little over 32,800 original miles. First the bad news: the truck has been issued an Arkansas "parts only" title due to an accident. The truck spun out into a low sidewalk curb and 3 tires and wheels were blown out (I have the original damaged tires and wheels). Due to the speed when ithit the curb, the bed came up and barely tapped the back of the cab on the passengers side, see pictures. As you can see by my fingers, the distance between the bed and the back of cab on each side is about 1/4 inch off. So, in this case the insurance adjuster and body shop say frame damage. There are some minor scrapes on one frame rail and the lower bottom of the front plastic bumper. There is also a scrape on the drivers side rear ground effect on the very bottom. You know it's a nice truck when the auto body shop that evaluated the damage tried to buy the truck directly from the insurance company, of course the insurance company said NO.....OK, here's the good news: the truck looks like new, the exterior is near perfect. The inside looks and smells new. The truck is super tight, no rattles or squeaks, rock solid! The engine is very strong, runs like new and pulls hard, the AC is ice cold, the dash and door panels are perfect. The front seats have been covered in a custom seat cover and are in great condition. A straight pipe exhaust has been installed, has a nice low rumble. I also just purchased a brand new set of 20 inch tires and wheels with only about 100 miles on them. This truck looks, runs and drives like a brand new vehicle. I purchased this truck directly from the insurance company. The only reason it was designated "parts only" is due to it's ageand thefact that the insurance adjuster indicated frame damage. So, in Arkansas I am stuck with a "parts only" title that I cannot get changed. I am certain that a street title can be obtained in another state, an example would be a "bonded title". If you have been looking for a garage kept Lightning that looks and runs like it's been in a time capsule for 15 years, then this is your truck. Don't pay over 24K for a truck like this, buy mine, save moneyand have a perfect rig with extra money left over for fun!!! Pleaseask me any questions, youwon't be disappointed. Thanks
