2004 Ford Focus Description

Up for sale is my wife's 2004 Ford Focus. We bought this new in 2004. This car is in awesome condition for a 12 year old car. It needs virtually nothing mechanically. The paint does have some minor issues (scratches, no holes). I have worked at Ford dealerships since 2002, and this car has been exceptionally well taken care of. Repairs within the last year or so include front pads and rotors, rear drums with wheel bearings, all 4 shocks and springs (SVT), 4 tires, spark plugs, ignition coils (only replaced them because I got them for 50% off and they had to come off to get to the plugs), serpentine belt, cooling fan resistor (common), etc. The car has the oil changed and tires rotated every 5k miles. I have been using 5w30 full synthetic oil for quite some time.
The car does have 175k miles, but that's because it became my daily driver in January 2010. At that point, it had 39k miles on it, and my job commute then became 150 miles per day. So, yes, there is a lot of mileage, but it is highway commuter mileage, not stop and go, sit in traffic all day mileage.
This car is the ZTS, which means loaded. Power windows, locks, moonroof, and a/c. It also has Ford factory heated front seats, an aftermarket in dash navigation unit with Bluetooth (may be removed and give to nephew), SVT 17" wheels, SVT black headlight housings, and a magnaflow stainless catback exhaust system. I also have a complete set of (4) 15" steel wheels with snow tires that we use in the winter.
I have attached some pics, and can take more upon request. The only reason we are selling this is because my wife wanted a Jeep Wrangler. We took delivery of it August 4th. My employer has relocated me much closer to home, so I drive my Ford Flex now. We will put some miles on the Focus to keep everything fresh, but maybe 5-10 per day at most. I would not hesitate to drive this car to any location in the country. It's inthat good of shape.
Please, no test drives if you do not know how to drive a standard transmission!I see the garbage on CL that is selling for similar pricing and needs much more work.I can deliver throughout New England, but buyer is responsible for tolls (if need be) and mytransportation fees to return home (bus, rental car). Thanks for looking, and feel free to email with any questions.
