1957 GMC Suburban Napco 4 wheel drive Description
1957 GMC Napco Suburban 4X, This is a new acquisition and we will be posting pictures soon. In the meantime thank you for your patience!, 1957 GMC Napco Suburban 4X4
A huge amount of time and money was spent on the restoration, including: paint, body, new metal and glass, rebuilt drive train, 4k alone was spent on rebuilding the axles and the suspension. This EXTREMELY RARE & DESIRABLE NAPCO 4X4 SUBURBAN was a father and son project that had been in the family for many years. The GMC Suburban is even more rare than the Chevy counterpart. The Napco was a dealer optioned conversion on GMCs. Like most restoration projects. This Burban sat around for several years before the good son decieded to make his fathers dream truck come back to life. The son spared no expense and replace any rusty metal with new metal. New glass all the way around, New paint over an extremely solid and straight body. This is a very nice vehicle you can get in and enjoy the nostalgic good old days gone by. Even the old transistor am radio works very well. The son added power steering, a tilt column, power brakes and electric wipers. These things can easily be removed if you prefer the stock hard to drive trucks. The drive train, suspension and axles were rebuilt as well. The inside has brand new seat covers and a beautiful painted dash with very nice instrumentation.
