1971 GMC C1500 - $23,000
Frame off restoration. Aluminum 5.3 L33 engine/TH350/posi 373 12 bolt. New suspension and brakes, lowered 5/6. New 20" rims and tires. New interior.
Body Details:â'70 C10 front end with original grille (like that when I bought it).âOriginal short bedâNew front bumper and all new bumper boltsâOriginal rear bumper (in good condition)âAll panels were stripped to bare metal and brought back upâCab corners and rockers done before I got it (cab was in good shape otherwise)âDoors and fenders were in good shape (minor rust welded and fixed)âBed had very minor rust. Left side had to be repaired at front of bed long ago - from an accident I guess. I stripped and repaired.âPainted with PPG DBC and Concept clear. Sanded, re-cleared and then buffed to a smooth, shiny finish.âBody and paint are an 8 in my professional opinion.âOriginal glass, in good shape. All new weatherstripping and rubbers.âAll new molding and trimâInside of bed lined with color matched Raptor liner. Bed had some rust pitting but no real rust through.
