1966 GMC pick up Description
Listing this for a friend and will try to do my best to describe this cool old truck. It started out as a fairly standard 66 GMC pickup and was transformed over the last couple years..
All of the panels and bed were pulled off and refinished, surprisingly this truck was pretty much rot free, a little surface rust here and there, but that's about it. Everything was stripped to bare metal, refinished, primed and repainted everything underneath has been undercoated.
All of the lights and electronics work
The engine is a rebuilt 350/383 stroker, mild cam and running a Holly 950 with a aluminum intake and the motor pulls hard, very snappy throttle response. Long tube headers each attached to a 3" stainless length of pipe, connecting to a brand new dual exhaust muffler assembly form a 2012 BMW M5 and sounds mean.
The archaic FRONT drum brakes were removed and replaced with large diameter discs, all brake lines were replaced with stainless steel ones.
The wheels were removed and replaced with larger units and bigger tires.
Just about every nut an bolt associated with the suspension has been replaced, all of the steering assemblies have been replaced as well.
Please email me with any questions.
