2001 GMC 2500HD 4x4 Extended cab

Four Door * 8' bed * 6 litre V-8

Every so often I'll list something other than a Harley Davidson motorcycle. And if your going to list something other than a Harley, why not a truck. A man's truck as a matter of fact. I'm offering a local 2001 GMC 2500HD SL Extended cab, 4x4, 6 litre and with a 4.10 gear ratio with only 104,977 original miles for sale. I purchased this truck in September from the original Lancaster County PA owner. It was purchased new at our local GMC truck dealership, Jones GMC, in Lancaster. I purchased it thinking it would be a great truck for a need I had and it was. The only thing is the need didn't pan out long term. So, I'm offering this incredible local truck for sale. It has the 8' bed which as rare as a three legged hen. The paint is original and excellent as the pictures clearly show. The body is not a rotted out, patched over rust bucket like many of these trucks can be. I took 147 pictures so you can see "everything" that I can see. I have no desire to hide anything from anyone. Take a real close look underneath the doors. Where in the heck do you see one of these trucks with door bottoms like that. I was stunned when I went to see this truck back in September. I purchased the truck with 103,110 miles on it and I'm very very fussy about my stuff and if my vehicles get even close to needing anything, they get it. Sohere's what IdidwhenI purchased it in September. I installed four new HANKOOK DYNAPRO ATM RF10 LT285/75R16 tires. I had them mounted on four new XD820 two-tone black and aluminum wheels. I did a four wheel alignment and a complete service. I upgraded the radio to an AM/FM/CD factory style DELCO and addednew Kicker speakers. I added the newtube step rails. I installed a new fuel pump. I installed a new bed liner and the black diamond plate aluminum tool box and I have the keys to it!It had a rubber mat only. I replaced the ABS control module. I replaced the wiper blades. And just last week I replaced the front rotors and pads, rear emergency brake shoes, a front wheel bearing, did an oil change and a fresh PA state inspection. Before I got it the owner never missed a beat with taking care of it and I wasn't about to do it any different. There is NO ROT on this truck. Look at the underside pictures and you'll see I didn't hide anything with a bunch of black paint or undercoating. There's some surface rust on the bare metal parts and here and there on the metal parts on the underside of the body. The lower bed rail cross supports are rock solid. The truck drips nothing. Maybe some dampness, but definately no drippers. Not in my driveway! There are probably five or six nicks or light scratches that have been touched up andI took pictures to give you an idea. There was adentby the fuel tank and I didn't want to paint on the truck so I had a paintless dent guy take itout as best he could. Not perfect, but in my opinion, better than a painted up truck. The chrome bumpers are nice and not rusting through from the back side. It has the trailer package and brake. The interior is absolutely like new. He had seat covers on it and carpets on the floors from new and it shows. The truck was never smoked in. The truck is equipped with the 6.0 litre and a4.10 gear ratio so it's set up right. Include the 8' bed and a four door extended cab version and you definatley have one very hard to find truck in this kind of condition. I have the original window sticker, the books, both keys and one incredibly nice truck. I recommend if you've been looking for a truck like this that you don't piddle around because I don't expect this truck to last long at all. They just aren't around in this condition. If you have any questions feel free to call me in person, email me and I'll be happy to answerany concernsyou may have. Thanks for taking a look!!

Now here's my normal closing on my Harley offerings...

Just some thoughts:

You know, as Americans we’ve never lived in fear and we’re not about to start now. No high gas prices, no lyin politician and no slithering terrorist will ever keep me from ridin my Harley because FEAR SUCKS! Freedom and wind will outlast hard times and I don’t know about you, but I’m gonna ride no matter what! Now don’t you think it’s time for YOU to experience what our forefathers must have thought FREEDOM really looked like! There’s nothing like throwing your leg over the heart pounding V Twin engine that has been the heart and soul of a Harley Davidson for close 115 years. The feel you’ll get when you’re cruisin the streets… well that’s something every man dreams of and every woman secretly desires. So follow your dreams and allow Harleys Direct turn your dream into reality, today.

About My Prices:

I do my best to offer higher quality, lower mileagebikes than anyone else and do itat a fair price. Others may be offering bikes for less, but not for a comparable machine. Always remember, if the deal looks and sounds unbelievable, you better take a closer look. My bikes generally have significantly lower miles than "average" bikes for similar comparisons so minewouldbe more expensive than a same year bike often, with 40, 50 or 60,000 miles on it. If you think my price is unfair for the condition and mileage, be open with your reasoning, be fair and reasonableand I'll do my best to work with you and make every effort to bring yourlifelong dream into reality.

About Harleys Direct:

I have been a Harley enthusiast for almost 35 years and enjoy them so much that I buy and sell them as a hobby. I handle only top quality machines and when I can get my hands on them, am able to offer them at better than average prices for identical motorcycles found at franchise dealerships. I can do this because I have limited overhead and only one mouth to feed. My bikes are not purchased at Powersports Auctions; they are not repos or the bikes other dealers rejected. I purchase the majority of my bikes right out of the garages of the original owners and occasionally from auto dealerships where they are traded. I search high and low for the best motorcycles available and travel upwards of 250 miles in any one direction leaving home some days at 6am and returning many nights at 11pm to find my Harleys. I am positive that there isn’t anyone on the internet that works any harder than I do to bring top quality machines to their clients. Ionly offer above average inventory to the select few who are fortunate enough to "run across" a "harleysdirect.com" offering. Every bike is carefully gone over by a certified Harley technician with adjustments to all necessary components, a fresh oil change and a thorough test ride. I guarantee all my Harleys to be of the best quality and the cleanest found anywhere with no stories or long explanations. If you aren't 100% satisfied with your purchase I will happily release youwith no questions and a full refund of your deposit. I have sold bikes to more than 40 states, Costa Rica, Australia, Germany, Puerto Rico, Arab Emeritus Dubai, Canada, Laos, Thailand and many of my local communities and I do not have any unhappy client anywhere. I'ma very particularperson and do this because I love it. I will tell you what I know and can see. People say I'm a little anal,I just think I'm particularly fussy. My personal bikes get no more attention when I clean, detail and service them. I like to keep it simple, no pressure, no sales pitches, no screaming or yelling about "this month’s special" just straight forward biker honesty. You WILL love dealing with "harleysdirect.com"!

All of my machines are for sale outside of eBay and I would estimate that 90% of my Harleys sell BEFORE the auction comes to a close so don’t delay. Most of my buyers contact me and discuss the particulars and make their decision to buy directly. This causes many to miss out on some quality machines at extremely fair prices. My fees to eBay are paid when the bikes are listed so selling off eBay makes no difference and is permitted. So please know that I am happy to answer any questions you may have and understand that buying on line may be new to you. Give me a call and we’ll see if we can’t put you at ease. Call or text Tim at 717 278-1583 8am - 9pm EST or email me at timothyhamilton1977@gmail.comanytime. I will respond as soon as possible. Thanks for your interest!

We have a one-time fee of $100.00 for title processing. This includes all necessary documents to register the bike in your home state. All appropriate documents are notarized and prepared for you to walk right into your local DMV location and register you bike on the spot. ALL titles are clear, clean and without liens. You will also receive copies of my dealer information, licenses and other pertinent documents.

Out of state buyers are welcome to purchase a temporary transit tag at our local notary for roughly $60.00. You will need a validinsurance identification card and a valid driver’s license to do so.

A few years ago I had two customers scammed by criminals who mostly function outside the USA and who contact them representing my listed or recently ended auctions. They will make you an offer that should seem “too good to be true” but two have fallen for it. They will also tell you that they want to do the deal through eBay or Pay Pal to receive their protection service, but it is a farce. IF you receive ANY communication from ANYONE but my email address or my cell number I would suggest you do not get caught up in the smoke and mirrors. One of the two customers lost $9,000.00 and the other $6,000.00 so don’t get suckered in. CALL ME on my cell number listed BEFORE you wire or PayPal ANYONE funds for one of my bikes. I speak and type the English language very clearly!!

At our dealership we work very hard to accurately describe our vehicles through text descriptions and elaborate photos. When you purchase a pre-owned vehicle it is not a new vehicle. Any used vehicle can have normal wear and blemishes. Before placing a bid please read the descriptions thoroughly and view all pictures.
