1977 GMC Jimmy High Sierra Sport Utility 2-Door 5.7L - A Survivor
1977 GMC Jimmy Description
Convertible for the summer. Old school truck turns heads and rides nice. Original Jimmy with low original miles (33k). Has some minor rust on a few panels (rockers, etc) - could use a few patch panels. Frame and under carriage all look good to me. Great candidate to restore as the truck is all original and solid. Runs, sounds and looks great.
Recent work included new distributor, brakes, clutch and 35" BF Goodrich All Terrain TA's 's on aluminum rims all the way around (still has nobbies on tires, less than 200 miles. This is a daily driver and runs great, I would have no worries about driving it anywhere. There is a minor crack, under 1" long on front windshield that has been there for years. I don't know of anything the truck needs, other than fixing some rust. The truck has never been repainted that I know of, looks all original.
I don't get to drive the truck enough and don't have a garage, so she needs a better home. Four wheel drive works fine and has lock out hubs. Three speed manual, with granny gear and high/low range on transfer case. Hard top comes off. Lots of room for family, dog and groceries.
Please don't bid if you don't want to purchase - if you do not have a decent history and score, please contact me before bidding or I will cancel bid. Thanks and good luck, she is a nice truck, sounds great, and turns heads. Low reserve, do not waste time asking or low ball via email, I will ignore. Serious buyers only please. I reserve the right to cancel the listing early.
