1996 Honda Accord Description

Here's the deal:
Last year I was overconfident and foolish and wrecked my gorgeous 02 subaru wrx. It was not insured, so I bought the best car I could with what I had, which got me this 1996 honda accord at 148k miles when I bought it. I've saved up enough to get another hatch, so after 15k troublefree miles of ownership (164k miles on the clock) I am offering this gem to you.
It's a 1996, the last year of this generation for the manual 5 speed. This is the most reliable accord generation, and this car has never let me down. I have every service record dating back to the original owner in 1996 in a chronologically organized binder, and I have continued adding to it. Regular oil changes every 3k, new front tires, new windshield wipers. The timing belt was changed at 132k in 2012 along with balance shaft belt, water pump, timing belt tensioner, balance shaft tensioner. The starter was replaced in 2010. The only time this car left me stranded was when the battery went out (which I promptly replaced as well). All of these records, as well as the original owner's manual. will be included.
It is a 20 year old car, which means the exterior is not showroom condition and the interior has a couple spots here or there. It's all aesthetic. She got, no BS, 32.9 miles to the gallon when I went to Seattle last weekend. Starts right up every time. over 450 miles a tank.
What am I not telling you? I don't have any service record indicating the clutch was changed. It hasn't been a problem for me because I know how to shift, but that may or may not have been done in the past. The plastic trim on the side is coming off a bit. the original wheels are pretty scuffed up. there's some scratches here and there. You're looking at a 20 year old honda, anybody that tells you there's is perfect is wrong. The beauty of this car is in the 30+ mpg engine and the reliability. There are examples on craigslist with 300k miles. This beauty is only halfway there.
Can you get cheaper accords? absolutely. Can you find an accord with service history and a proven 15k mile ownership period of no problems? probably not. Located in Federal Way washington.Records listed below, included with purchase in chronologically organized binder.
