This is a super nice 1991 Jaguar XJS Classic Collection convertible in excellent condition. I purchased this vehicle in January 2012 from a jewelry store owner in North Carolina and had it shipped directly to Naples, FL. Car has always been garage kept as is evident by the excellent condition of the original paint. No touch up paint, no damage to the body, shine is great, chrome is also beautiful. Interior is original with normal wear and tear. The power conv. top is in good shape. I will include a brand new headliner that cost me $200, as the original headliner is torn. Original carpets are very nice, dash pad is perfect, all guages work except for cruise control switch, an inexpensive fix. The wood accents are worn due to sun but are available for cheap money. Engine runs very smooth as it should, the 3 speed transmission shifts perfectly either in auto mode or manual. The exhaust is very quiet. The original wheels are very nice, and the tires near new. The AM/FM stereo w/cassette is original to the car with codes.It has power windows, door locks and power top and all work. The air conditioner blows ice cold. I had it tuned up 6 months ago.The car's actual true mileage is 51,000 plus a little. The previous owner shared with me a speedometer change that was done when the car had 49,509. The replacement speedo was purchased used with 33,676 miles, a difference of 15,833 miles less than the original. It has all been noted and there is nothing to hide. The previous owner was very truthful with me as I will be with you. As you can see by the mileage I did not use the car very much, only driving it a couple of thousand miles since I purchased it back in 2012.I am selling this car at NO RESERVE! These cars typically sell between $12,000-$15,000. I paid a lot for this car, someone is going to get a great deal! This car looks great, the new owner will be very pleased. The car pops red with great lines. Not many jags out there that are 25 years old that look as nice as this one. I have a perfect record on ebay for many years and intend on keeping it that way.
