Jaguars from this generation when Ford took over, have turned out to be some of the best, most dependable Jaguars ever built. They are durable, beautiful, comfortable, quiet and ride and steer as smooth as silk. They simply have a unique ride and drive. Solid, stable, and safe. If you have never driven a Jaguar, let me tell you, it is a treat.I have sold many Jaguars here on ebay. 17 years selling special cars here on Ebay and with 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK. There are very few classic cars that I haven't driven. This car is simply one of the finest a person could drive. Not only is it a superior automotive experience, you will really feel special when you get behind the wheel. How could you not? You are surrounded by one of the greatest combinations of Leather and Wood that has ever been put in motorcar. The cattle are raised in open pastures where they can never get an accidental barbed wire scar. The amazingly beautiful Wood is just gorgeous. I believe it is Burled Walnut.

This beautiful XJ8 has the small, but proven and powerful 4.0 V8. An excellent combination of Power and Economical Performance. This car runs and shifts smoothly.

The interior is stunning. The previous owner really kept it nice. The back seat looks like it was never sat on and the hides on the front seat are much better than average. The door panels have a couple pressure marks from the owners pushing on the wood to open the door. You can see them in the pictures, but they certainly do not deter from this car's gorgeous interior.

Please note that the paint shines so deep that there are many reflections such as leaves on the ground that make it look like there are a lot of marks in the paint. It just shines like a mirror and reflected everything around it.The body although having some very normal marks for a car it's age, is superior to just about anything you could find, especially in this price range. The paint just glows! It has been waxed with a superior product because when I washed it, the water beaded up like it was waxed yesterday. This car IS NOT RUSTY! I could have put a little touch up on the few scratches around this car, but I would prefer that you see it the way it is so you can see that the owner was not careless and really did a fine job of keeping this Jag out of harms way. There is room for some chips and scratches to be touched up, but not much. A few scratches on the left front bumper cover would be improved greatly with a Duplicolor touch up pen found at at most any auto parts store. The undercarriage is really good. Much better than normal. The tires have tons of tread and seem to be balanced. The car drives down the road in excellent fashion.

I could go on all night about the attributes of this car and the how it is one of the best buys in a "budget" price range, but as I have for 17 years, I tell you the bad I can find with the good. There is a piece of grill type plastic missing in the front under the bumper. They get broken easily from stones or curb stops. Not hard to find here on ebay. Although the sunroof's motor and switch work, it is not opening all the way. I have seen this before. They get a stone or obstruction and they stop. sometimes the headliner panel can get in the way too. Since the motor works and the sunroof moves, the repair would be to take that side of the panel down and check out the problem. It is not as complicated as you may think and the step by step directions are on You Tube. The power antenna quit about half way up. They are not hard to replace and aftermarket antennas are very reasonably priced here on ebay.

All in all, You can't find more fun and value for your automotive and investment dollar. YES investment. If you don't drive this car daily and keep it in this condition, it won't loose you money. If you drive the wheels off it, it will give you so much for your money.
