Jaguar XJ8 1999, red, low 63,000 mileage, always garaged, excellent condition

1999 Jaguar XJ8 Description

I purchased this car in 2011 from a dealer to replace my red, 1998 XJ8 which was totaled in an accident. It had 41,980 miles on it then and was in excellent condition: it was a dark blue color. The car has never been in an accident; however in 2013 I chose to have it repainted a beautiful metallic red because it made me feel good! My previous 1998 XJ8 was dark green originally and I, also repainted it red. I love red! I got an excellent paint job and included pin stripes too. The car was always garaged and in a smoke free environment. I replaced the steering wheel and knob with ones that are wood and are cool looking and feel good. The car has been my baby and it is beautiful inside and out. The beige leather is in excellent condition and the burled wood is gorgeous. There are no dings or dents on the car; however there are 2 small scratches on the rear bumper which can be repainted for $250.00. I am willing to arrange for the bumper repainting if requested. Three years ago, I had a new throttle body installed and I have replaced all worn parts and hoses as necessary. This car has been loved and babied and well maintained. This car was always in California. I am 76 years old and reluctantly purchased a new red car which has lots of safety monitors to help me drive better. It is not as beautiful or classy inside or outside as my Jaguar XJ8.
