LQ9 LS6.0L V8 XJ with only 900 miles on conversion!!!
1 of a kind LS 6.0L powered 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport
A very clean Jeep Cherokee Sport with an incredibly powerful 6.0L LQ9. It has approximately 350 Horsepower at the crank and was tuned at 115 degrees in Arizona on 87 octane but we have always put 91 in it. With additional tuning (timing), higher octane fuel and adjusted cold air intake location the builder (Top Gear Performance) said the motor is capable of 420-430hp at the crank as it sits. It drives good and gets up and go's, I can't imagine more power as it sits right now. I have yet to do a MPG calculation but I talked to another guy with a 5.7L who gets 21-25mpg with his.
The Jeep had very low miles prior to installing the 6.0L (with only 72,3xx miles) but since the LQ9 installed it has less then 1000 miles. The stock 4.0L and transmission were sold.
This Jeep is built to be driven as a daily driver,off road explorer or a nice weekend warrior.

Short block 6.0L LQ9 motor taken out of a 2002 Cadillac Escalade. The block was taken to a engine Builder in Arizona (top Gear motorsports). They completely rebuilt/built the motor with all new parts. It sounds incredible and starts right up. The motor is powerful and has absolutely no problem driving. I do not notice any leaks on the ground anywhere. The motor is a blast and there aren't many like it. Top Gear charges $18-20k for similar conversions.
Transmission/Drivertrain/suspension/Transfer Case:
5 speed Automatic rebuilt 4165E Transmission (top gear motorsports) that shifts smooth and drives great. The drivetrain is excellent as well, a 8.8" rear differential with 4.56 gears and an ARB air locker. The front differential is a stock Dana 30 differential with 4.56 gears and a Detroit limited slip. The transfer case shifts easily in and out of 4x4 and has a slip yoke eliminator on it SYE.
Iro 5.5" Long Arm Suspension lift with Bilstein 5150 shocks.
Steering:The Jeep steering is a bit squirrely with the 5.5" lift and power, it needs a drop pitman arm installed and possibly a steering stabilizer shock. The rear sway bar is included but not currently installed.
Under Carriage:
The undercarriage frame is in excellent condition, it is a Colorado/Ariozona Jeep so it doesn't have any rust.
Tires/Wheels:
The tires are in excellent condition with at least 80-85% tread remaining. They are BFG All Terrain ko 285x75x16s and the spare is new. The wheels are black widow steel wheels 16x8 in great condition.
Body/Paint:
This Jeep is in great condition and has a cleancarafax without any accidents or pa. The paint is very shiny, shows lots of luster andreflection It does have paint checkering on the hood and has clear coat peeling and fading on the roof in a clear coat peeling in a few spots. The rear doors/quarter panels have several small dings on them and the passenger door has a dent near the body line. The emblems were removed but are included. The plastic side panels were removed because they were faded and then tossedin the trash. No rust
Has custom front and rear bumpers. The front has a winch mount and the rear has a swing out tire carrier both are very stout. They both have D rings installed.
Interior:
The interior is very clean. The seats are in great condition, the drivers seat has a small sliver tear on the front and the rear seat on the top has a few small scratch tears in the vinyl. There is an aftermarket CD player with good sound. There is a plug in for a CB radio that is wired and ready. All lights,gauges, switches, windows, locks, mirrors, horn etc all work perfectly. There is a battery relocation kit for the trunk, this was installed to make room for the LQ9 cold air intake.
The Speed hutgauges include: digital mph, overall trip,elevation (altometer), 1/4 mi & 0-60 timing and clock. What you see in the photo is the mileage and below it is the elevation where I live.
Winch:Includes a used high speed HS9500 winch with a new warn winch controller but you will need mounting bolts and a roller fairlead (not pictured).
Overall:
This is a very nice, clean and incredible Jeep Cherokee Sport XJ. It doesn't appear to have been in an accident and looks to be all original including paint.
Paperwork:Includes a clean Colorado Title and Bill of Sale. Also I have some of the receipts covering 28k, view photo of paperwork. I also have some extra parts including rear sway bar, original speedometer cluster and misc parts.

All Sales are final, sold as is, where is and without warranty. Please settle all questions and concerns before placing a bid and winning the auction. I do my best to illustrate the Jeeps condition but I may have missed something. It is a used Jeep and 15 years old, it may have imperfections that I may have missed. Do not hesitate to ask questions or come see it in person. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as this jeep is listed for sale locally as well.
A $1000 non refundable deposit must be paid within 24 hours of auction end time via Paypal. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of the auction end time by an electronic bank transfer or cash in person. I accept all cashiers/certified checks however they can take up to 2 weeks to process and clear. I will not ship the Jeep or let it go until all funds have cleared. Once funds have cleared I will overnight the title, emissions voucher and bill of sale to you. The Jeep is missing emissions equipment and currently registered in a non emission county of Colorado so I am not responsible for any out of state inspections or emissions requirements including Colorado.

Update:
I drove the Jeep about 60 miles today and the Jeep is incredible to drive especially on the highway when you want tomake a pass or in the canyon to increase the speed. A cherokee on 33s with a 5.5" lift is a dog with a 4.0L but with 350HP it is a completely different vehicle. But, the Jeep has some items that need to be corrected including:I'm noticing a vibration under gas. I looked under the Jeep and it appears the rear pinion angle is slightly off and perhaps the tires are out of balance or a ujoint needs replacement. I am noticing the vibration most around 40-65mph. I do not know where the vibration is coming from so I am going to drive the Jeep to Denver tomorrow and take it to a couple different highly regarded shops for some professional advice.
