2001 Jeep Cherokee - 4.5 Inch Lift
2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport Description
My family has grown in size and I sadly must sell my beloved Cherokee. I still owe on this so it would be a bank to bank transaction or a person to bank transaction.

I replaced the rear wheel brake cylinders, front brake pads and new calipers all around September 2015. I have tried to only do modest upgrades. It has the heavy duty rear leaf spring from ARB, new front coil springs plus a spacer, new front sway bar links, new adjustable track bar, new extended stainless steel brake lines front and back, and new longer shocks, and all new hardware/bushings for all installed parts, all from Iron Rock Offroad. The rear bumper has been replaced with a bumper from Affordable Offroad. The tires are new 31 inch retreads from Treadwright.
The things that are of concern with it would include the A/C compressor needing diagnosed/replaced.There is an occasional and slight humming sound coming from the rear differential/axle. Due to the height of the lift there is occasional vibrations from the rear driveshaft.I have a Hack and Tap slip yoke eliminator to remedythat will come with the car. I have not installed this yet since I think the buyer of this vehicle would have more confidence in it if they installed it themselves or had a mechanic do it. This issues also disappears if 100 lbs is added to the trunk. The interior is above average, there are just some dings to the plastic trim here and there and the headliner has started to show signs of sag. Last week the fuel pump started to show signs of failure. This has caused longer than usual cranking before start or simply turning it to the On position three times before starting as usual. I will update this soon as this may be covered by warranty.
Despite being a Indiana vehicle it has very little rust. there are only a few very small rust spots on the exterior and the under bodyis free of any excessive rust. Most of the rusted bolts were replaced during the installation of the lift kit.
Overall this is a great Jeep that has been taken care of very well by me. This is a great vehicle to leave as is or has many components needed to lift it higher. The front spring has a 1-1.5 inch spacer which means if one of the rear leafs were to be removed the vehicle would sit lower if that was the goal.
I would be very happy to answer any and all questions about this vehicle that you have.
