2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Description

2005 JEEP Grand Cherokee Limited WK with the 5.7 liter Hemi. Has every factory option with exception of chrome rims and rear entertainment system.
Automatic headlights with auto high beam, bluetooth connection to cell phone with hands free operation and voice activated dialing, heated seats,Navigationsystem with workingjoystick! (these are notorious for starting to work poorly after a couple years), cd changer, dual zone climate controls, towing button for different shift points while trailing, trip computer, tire pressuremonitors, back up sensors, factory tow package, memory powered seats, adjustable reach peddles, auto dimming driver mirror and rear view mirror, garage door opener, and the amazing Quadradrive II 4x4 system.
The Quadradrive II and HEMI engine are acoupleof the biggest reasons I originally purchasedthis JEEP, the four wheel drive system has a "locking" front and rear axle along with locking centerdifferentialfrom the factory along with selectable four wheel drive low. This in myopinionis the most offroad worthy stock SUV available, period. There has never been a moment that this JEEP has given me any trouble during our big snow falls. While the Jeep has the offroad pedigre, lift and tires it has never been "wheeled" or offroaded with the exception of camping and snow boarding trips.
Everything works as it did from the assembly line, electrics and mechanics. I am the second owner, I purchased this Jeep when it had approximately 98k miles a little over four years ago from the original selling dealer as a trade in. It has extensive service documentation from the original owner all done at the dealer I purchased the JEEP from and can be verified through carfax or through the original Dealer. And I have kept most of all the documents for servicing through my ownership that will be provided to the new owner. While not an auto mechanic I am a motorcycle mechanic, business owner and like to keep a perfectly running vehicle so you can be assured you are buying a well kept andreliablecar.
During my ownership I have kept up with all factory maintenanceintervals, using nothing but components from JEEP or from AC Delco with the exception of thesequalityparts; Beilstein Heavy duty shocks, Rough Country 2.5" leveling lift, Hankook "31 inch" all terrain tires, Magnaflow stainless steel muffler (very mild tone), and Weathertech molded floor mats. And I added when I first purchased the JEEP an IPOD converter that allows IPOD control and charging through the factory radio with connections in the glove box. I will also include the locking snow board racks and two keys.
In the last year and 7k miles the JEEP has had the Radiator, 2 Tire pressure sensors, air filter, sway bar links, ball joints, shocks (with Beilstein HD), 2.5" leveling lift, 245/75R17 Hankook RF10 all terrain tires (approx 31"), and a complete alignment.
And recently it has had a complete inspection and, the water pump, thermostat, serpentine belt, rear rotors and brake pads with emergency brake shoes replaced along with an oil change and tire rotation to prepare it for its new owner.
It also has had all the Dealer recalls performed and during the second to last recall performed I had the dealer reflash all the ECU's to the newest firmware and software available from JEEP. It now shifts smoother and the throttle lag that is common to the earlier Hemi Jeeps is gone. Last recall done was for an updated ignition switch with heavy duty internals to keep heavy key chains from affecting switch.
This has been hands down the best and my most favorite vehicle I have owned, it is in a tie with a Subaru that I owned until 220k miles for most reliable car I have owned. I am selling only because my family is in need of a vehicle with a third row.
All pictures where taken this past weekend. The only change to the car as pictured is a new steering wheel cover as all of these cars have leather wrapped steering wheels that have not weathered well with use and time.
Interior is super clean with the only real blemish, cracked bottom bolsters on the driver and frontpassengerseats which seems to be common with these Jeeps.
Carfax is clean with one exception, it has one accident logged under my ownership and the evidence of the accident is still on the truck with a dented tailgate and a small hole in the bumper right over the tow hitch. As can be seen from the photos it was a small impact in which the JEEP was stationary and someone bumped into the rear of the truck.
Price of this jeep reflects the defects explained, this is apristineexample of a WK Jeepotherwise.
I have more pictures available if anyone is interested and a copy of a current carfax report.
Car can be seen at my business at anytime, and can be shown Monday through Friday 9am to 5:30pm.
