2001 Jeep Wrangler SPORT Description

This little TJ is what we consider a rescue. Originally we bought this to part out but quickly found out how well taken care of it was, so we wanted to keep it on the road. This wrangler has a previously salvage title from a light impact in the front. Will include the before pictures so you can see. It looks like the insurance/body shop picked it apart, so their loss was our gain. Only real damage was grill and driver's fender. Also needed bumper end cap. The passenger front fender had a small rust spot, so we replaced that as well. Grille was damaged from what appeared to be someone trying to pull the jeep by the grille. Otherwise would have only needed a single fender. Currently in very nice shape, only real issues are the cracked top of the center console, cracked vinyl on the driver's side seat, and the radio has a mind of its own. (volume up/down changes direction when using.) All fluids serviced, everything checked over. Because we specialize in Jeeps, we also wanted to make sure we went through this guy mechanically. This survivor is completely stock and was well-maintained. Looking it over, we felt it deserved second life and gave is some well deserved maintenance.
NEW:Fender flares (they were ok, but 2 were lost during transport)All FluidsWater pump replaced (housing above was leaking, replaced while there)Thermostat replacedFront and rear bumpers coated with truck bed coating. Oil Pan gasket replacedFront and Rear pinion seals replacedTransmission serviced.Valve Cover Gasket Two new fenders/paint. Oil Pressure switch (oil pressure was incorrectly reading high)Transfer case output seal
We wanted to make sure it didn't mark it's territory, so we patched up all the little seeps and leaks.
This TJ is well-optioned including Air Conditioning, Speed Control, Dual Top group (soft top, all parts there... some wear on front corners shown in pics) Mopar add-a-trunk all from the factory.
Undercoat is available, but left off for now to allow inspection of undercarriage.
Pics taken while it was raining today, the black stuff is very black and not all faded that the rain and dust makes it appear. There is a single picture of the front damage post-accident. More available.
CARFAX available upon request.
