Up for sale is my 2001 Jeep Cherokee 60th Anniversay. I bought the truck from a friend in Virginia with intentions to fix a few things and use as my daily driver, both of which I have done. However, as nice and rust free as this southern Jeep is, I can't bring myself to drive it through the upcoming New York winter... thus I would like to sell it and buy something a little less rare. This Jeep is one of, if not the cleanest XJ I've ever seen. Please keep in mind, it is a used 15+ year old truck, so you will find a scratch here and there and other small imperfections. That being said, most need to be pointed out to notice. There are NO visable door dings, major blemishes or body rust of any kind. The previous owner bought the truck in stock form roughly 5 years ago and only drove it about 11,000 miles in that time. He added many high end and desirable modifcations and I have finished the truck with a few thousand dollars in maintenance bringing it as close to perfect as possble. So lets get on to the fun stuff! This Jeep is lifted 5.5" with a complete Rubicon Express Super-Flex short arm Lift Kit and Old Man Emu shocks. The truck is equiped with a Slip Yoke Eliminator negating the needed to lower the transfer case. The front end is out of a 4cyl TJ with 410 gears and lockrite front lockers. The rear end is a Ford 8.8 with rear disc brakes, LSD and 410 gears. Having had many lifted trucks and Jeeps before this, I can honestly say this is the most capable off-road vehicle I've had the chance to drive. This Jeep is further outfitted with a working Safari Snorkel, Surco roof basket and four Hella Off-Road lights. The tires are 33x12.5x15 Dunlop Mud Rovers mounted to black 15" steelies with 90% tread remaining. Since taking ownership I have done the following: New JVC bluetooth/aux reciever with mic (all speakers work and sound great), New Moog front right and left ball joints, New Moog front right and left tie rods, New thermostat, New oil pan gasket, New rear main seal, New valve cover gasket, New Cook Brothers custom drive shaft, New exhaust with custom muffler delete (perfect growl, not too loud, does not drone). The previous owner replaced many parts as well including recent brakes, battery, assorted bushings and other items I'm sure I'm forgetting. The Jeep will come with a stack of reciepts from both him and I for all the work done. Literally, this Jeep should run trouble free for a very very very long time. Underside is bone dry, not so much as a seap, drip or anything else. There are no dash lights. Everything works as it should to the best of my knowledge. In an effort of full disclosure, the Jeep was reported stolen back in 2009 before the previous owner purchased it. It was recovered, the ignition and door locks were changed out and it was sent to auction where a dealer bought it and sold it to the previous owner. The title is CLEAR. It does however show the theft and insurance payout to that owner on the carfax. The carfax also shows a fender bender way back in 2003. As intimite as I have got with this vehicle, there is absolutely no remaining evidence of either incident, but in an effort of full disclosure, the carfax is available. Lastly, there is a small crack in the windsheild up high to the left of the rear view mirror (it has not spread whatsoever so I've done nothing about this). The tires show a little dry rot in between tread but they hold air perfectly, drive smooth, and have 90% tread depth. This Jeep will come with a Free and Clear NY title ready to sign over. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country tomorrow.

I've shipped many vehicles and will help facilitate shipping anywhere at the buyer's expense or will pick you up from the airport.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due via PayPal as soon as the auction ends. The remaining balance must be paid in cash, by bank wire, or certified check and will be verified before keys and title will be handed over.

Vehicle is sold as-is with no warranty.
