1990 Jeep Wrangler Description

NO RESERVE! $10,900 to start bidding.$18,000 invested!
***I cannot emphasis enough, I've included ALL the info below. We all wish there was as much info as included below! Please take the time to read before bidding. I'm a 14 year EBAY P@wer S&ller! Thank you!***

If you're reading this listing, hopefully you agree that this is the Jeep that MOST BUYERS are looking for. In the most simple term possible, this Wrangler "has all the upgrades without being beat up, without going too far, without making it a trailer queen", NOT dented, smashed, rolled, no title, hunk of wheeled rusting junk. When this Jeep was purchased locally out of Sammamish, Washington, it was a regular Jeep YJ with 28" tires and an aftermarket stereo. That was about 2 years ago. Unfortunately, my family gets extremely car sick on anything other than a fire roads, so we're going to look onto different interests/hobbies. If you're looking for aBALANCE between old school, and new school Jeep, that has all the work done, so that you simply drive it to work and then hit some aggressive trails, worry free, than you've found your investment. Jeep has clear WA title in my name, NEW 4.2L Straight 6, power steering, power brakes, discs in all 4 corners,Hard top, hard doors, etc. Irealize this is not a cheap 5k dollar Jeep, therefore I am including a TON of information. If the info is not clear on something please feel free to message me.I recommend motoshippers DOT com for pickup and delivery of your new Jeep. I know the owner personally, and you'll receive a good quote, and excellent customer service and care, at a great price.
The reason for explaining all of this information? This jeep has more funds invested on the engine build(not counting ANY labor)as some Jeeps for salein your neighborhood. But you have peace of mind, knowing that the Jeep is built soundly, and correctly. I NEVER wanted to be one of those guys stranded, stuck wrenching in the snow, under my Jeep, in the dark, in the forest mud puddle or out in the desert... That doesn't sound fun to me. The hardtop is perfect, the glass is perfect, the frame and all the metal, are clean, heat functions, and I believe it even has AC. There are no dents in any of the metal body. You simply CANNOT recreate this Jeep for under $19,000. Unless you're a building/fabricator. My loss of investment and hundreds of hours between my father and I, is your gain. As with all vehicle sales. There is no expressed warrantee on vehicle. Vehicle is sold as is at the time of the sale. Washington statetitle held by me, free and clear. Title is in my name. No brands or stamps on title. No funny stuff! :-)
The Build:
$4,700 -- Freshly rebuilt 4.2L engine (the last year of the "real Jeep" before being sold to Chrysler, going fuel injected 4.0L). 410 Machine, out of Buckley, WA removed the engine, cleaned engine bay, checked clutch/flywheel,built engine from the block, out with all new internals, and then installed the engine, breaking it in, changing oil before delivery. This was a full build from the block up. Every single componant is new. The head was ported for even more low end grunt, & gas mileage. Balanced blueprinted, block decked, new valve guides, all new internals, new intake, Weber 38 carb setup. New gaskets, new battery, oil pump is mechanical, also new waterpump, and fuel filter. All of the smog equipment and unnecessary vacuum lines were removed. After engine was reinstalled, a new radiator was fitted. The engine bay is very clean, and simple. Engine has had initial engine break-in oil change, oil change at 400 miles, and another approximately 500 miles later. The engine was at the shop for over 5 weeks to complete this. Many hours of labor. This engine has approximately 1,200 miles on it. Of those 1,200 miles, POSSIBLY 200 were in 4 wheel, on fire roads or going over the Naches Trail. Receipt provided.
$625 -- OBX polished header fitted thenJeep was towed to Bonney Lake Muffler for SpinTech muffler and custom piping from front to back.
$100 -- Valve cover gasket, oils, fuses, transfer case oil, rear end oil flush.
$1,200 -- Rough Country 4" lift kit with pitman arm upgrade and transfer case drop kit. Steering stabilizer bar kit. 1.5" wheel spacers on all corners to widen the keep 3" total, but with 12" tires instead of 10.5" you're talking 6 inches wider total. Replacement spring bolts kit. Quick disconnecting sway bar kit. 1.5" boomerang shackles. RC Winch mount plate with grade 8 bolt upgrade. 9,500lb 5.5 HP wireless winch. All cheap hardware was thrown away, all grade 8 bolts/fasteners were used. (Price does not include labor which took 48 hours to complete).
$1,300 -- TeraFlex Slip Yoke Eliminator kit, transfercase rebuilt, install with front and rear custom sized Tatton driveshafts. Driveshafts were ordered specifically for this year and height of vehicle. Then new heavy duty Pitman arm was installed. (Price does not include labor which took12 hours)
$250 -- Battery, new rear Seatbelts, d-rings, snatch block, handles. (Price does not include labor)
$2,000 -- 35" Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's 35x12.5x15 tires mounted onto black steel wheels. Tires have 95% tread.
$625 -- New 15 gallon fuel tank, sending unit inside gas tank, and gauge cluster in dash. All new, installed by 410 Machine. All gauges, gas/fuel pressure/battery, are all matching in dash. Dash has not been cut/altered. (A job you do NOT want to do yourself).
$300 - Rockerguards -- Purchased, installed, and welded up at XO Fabrication - Enumclaw WA. These are "bolt on" rockerguards, but since most people use them also as a runningboard to step onto, I had XO Fab in Enumclaw, weld the mounts. (Price does not include labor)
$ 150 - New winch plate with grade 8 bolts, new 9,500lb 5.5 HP wireless winch. (Price does not include labor)
$2,200 -- Ford 8.8/ 4:10 FULL gearing swap & disc brakes. Ford Explorer 8.8 with LSD 4:10 rear end. The best option for your Jeep YJ. No expense spared duringswap! The rear end was found 2 hours away, my dad and I went to purchase and then, brought to XO Fabrication in Enumclaw, WA. XO Fab removed my current Dana 35 rear end and Tatton drive shaft. They rebuilt the strong front D30 axle with all new 4:10 components, installed new Ujoints, and refitted the Tatton drive shaft. They then rebuilt the rear end of the 8.8 rear, built mounts, and ordered a 2nd custom fitted drive shaft to mate to the 8.8 swap. Once rear end and custom drive shaft were installed, they upgraded the axle with all new brake calipers, rotors, pads, and brake lines. The entire drivetrain is essentially new. The jeep now has 4 discs in all corners. Stops like a new Jeep. Accelerates like a new Jeep, no wobble, no roll, no walking with 35" tires and 4:10, still does 65mph comfortably in 5th gear. The Jeep has not been offroad ONE MILE since the full gearing swap. My wife and I are simply moving on to other things.(Receipt provided). The mileage since engine swap is a guess. The real number is anywhere between 600-1200 miles.

Jeep owner "need to know stuff"
You're buying a 26 year old Wrangler, right? A balance between a cramped, "unstable over 30mph" CJ trailer queen and a fuel injected queen JK... Its never "done". The one disclosure is that when the new engine was mated to the transmission or when the transmission was mated to the transfer case, the cable that pushes into the transmission was not pushed in all the way. The result is the in dash speedometer that does not turn. Obviously this could be fixed by a technician making sure the speedo cable is fully inserted. I drove by GPS from a Garmin, mounted on the window, as I've always driven off of GPS, due to the extreme difference in tires and gearing. The dash speedowas far off, you could not use it anyway. Now that the Jeep is regeared, I'd imagine its even worse. GPS is accurate. The body has approximately 120k miles on it. If I was keeping the Jeep, the two things I would continue to do:install new front seats, and replace whistling door seals for factory Wranglerhard doors.Small stuff.
If you're still reading, you know what you're into/inquiring about. My hope was to entice that particular buyer who wants a built YJ, who understands you can buy a 4k dollar clean YJ with title, and do all the work yourself, or....... simply buy it completed. I'm hoping to sell this to someone that wants a street driver/wheeler, but someone that realizes they would rather have it DONE vs. the hundreds of hours of building themselves. This was a long 18 month build. I'd prefer to sell to someone in the lower 48 states please. I will work with motoshippers DOT com on delivering your vehicle. If you'd like a quote, please email them prior to bidding. Last but not least. Of course. Washington state title, in hand, in my name. Thank you and look forward to working with you to deliver your new Jeep as soon and effectively as possible!
