2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - Modified
2014 Jeep Wrangler Willy's Edition Description
THIS JEEP IS NOT A MALL CRAWLER.
ADDITIONAL WARNING: EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE.
This gorgeous, four-door, soul-enlivening beast of a machine has what it takes to crawl over rocks, trees, accidental curbs that you didn't see, and the occasional Prius. It has crawled all over the western United States, including the Mecca of all things Jeep: Moab. In its adventurous young life, it has picked up its share of scratches on the paint and rock rash on the wheels, but if you're seriously looking at this post, you care more about where it can take you than a few scars (and besides, chicks dig scars, remember?). This Jeep started life as a stock Willy's Edition Jeep JKU, and it was my intent to baby it throughout it's life... but as any parent knows, sometimes plans don't work out... I took it wheeling once and was hooked. While I was stationed in the Mojave Desert, this Jeep took us on adventure after adventure. National Parks, overland camping trips, frantic searches for lost Soldiers, you name it. "Does it do snow?" Are you serious? 35" Mud/Terrain tires eat that stuff like Rosie O'Donnell eats ice cream after a Trump speech. Have to pull your lifted-pickup owning buddy out of a ditch in January? No worries! a 9,000lb winch will pull him out and make him jealous of your ridiculously-capable driving and recovery skills. Want to go camping, but would rather not hike all the way in? My friend, you have discovered the Holy Grail of off-road capability. Thanks to 4.88 gears and a rear Eaton locker, you'll be cruising your way up to Boulder City, climbing rocks, waterfalls, logs, and the occasional 4-wheeler that refuses to give way to your 6,000lbs of beefy awesomeness. Once you arrive, simply grab the front D-rings, attach your hammock from them to the nearest treat and voila! You can spend the next 4 hours in sublime serenity while you wait for your less-equipped brethren to join you by foot.
Reason for sale: After 8 years in the Army, a manual transmission just isn't the right choice for my knees. This Jeep has only had one owner, and I've been constantly pro-active with all maintenance. Most "wear parts" have been replaced with the highest-quality aftermarket parts available, and I've never missed a fluid change.
