1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport Description

Todays auction is for honestly one of the nicest modified Jeep Cherokees to ever see the pages of eBay. Yes I know there a lot of them to choose from. First reason to choose mine is I am not a dealer, I am a private shop building one Jeep at a time, so more attention to detail in the finished product. I joined forces with one of the ASE certified builders from the self proclaimed largest Cherokee builder in the country to build this Jeep as well as the next one we are building. This Jeep was inspected front to rear and if a part needed replacement, it was not only replaced but upgraded. The Cherokee has a brand new Chrysler PR4 Flame Red Axalta paint job. This started as a rust free truck with paint fade on hood, tops of fenders, and roof. The Jeep has seen a lot of miles being pulled behind a RV, destination Orlando. No we did not spray no Bedliner material on the lower half of the body to cover up anything. We did use bedliner for the Smittybilt front winch bumper and a brand new factory rear bumper. The blackout graphics on the hood is not Vinyl, it is Satin Black Axalta paint. The 40x65 roof basket with wind fairing has plenty of room to store your gear while you are out on the trail. The rack also houses the brand new 48 inch HI-Lift trail jack. The 27450C LED headlights are super bright and 100 percent SAE DOT legal, we all know the Cherokees have lighting problems. The smoked markers and taillights are of questionable legality depending on your state, check local laws I can install stock before pickup if desired. As far as electronics, the Jeep has plenty. The Jeep also has plenty of battery to control the power supply; it has a brand new red top Optima battery. The 50 inch RI light bar will make daylight out of darkness. If you don't need that much you have a set of 18w pods on the front bumper. There is also a set of 18w pods mounted on the cargo rack for backing out of tight spots. There is 30 watts of led lights also in each fenderwell to light up the tires for the late night rock crawler. And if you get in a bind the front mounted 8k pound winch is there to get you out of a jam. We thought of everything. This wasn't just a Jeep thrown together to make money, this was a joint venture of two guys who have a passion for Jeeps. Now for the mechanical and suspension part of the build, We used the preferred parts of the most demanding Jeep owners. We started off with a full 4.5 inch lift installed by ASE certified technician, but added even more quality parts. We added the Fox 2.0 Performance series IFP shocks and the Fox Performance series ATS steering stabilizer with remote reservoir. The stabilizer was not on in the pics but will be installed before pickup. For a firmer and quicker steering we installed a brand new Durango upgraded steering box as well as new lines. Then we added a set of new 32 inch Desert Hawk mud terrain tires that were fitted on brand new 15 inch Black Rock series 953 street lock wheels with brand new splined lug nuts. Then with the added height of the new tires it required a re-gear. We swapped out the factory 3.55 gears with a more appropriate 4.10 gear ratio. We used quality G2 gears so we decided to order the G2 hammer covers for even more off road protection. A Powertrax locker was installed in the rear to aid with traction. This truck is ready for the trails if that's what you are looking for, or it's even ready to crawl the mall. Now onto the interior. The plain sport interior just wasn't good enough to us. We decided to use the wood grain optioned door panels from a 2001 Cherokee Limited. We also had the headliner recovered and used the same Limiteds headliner and overhead console. We took the beautiful wood grain center dash Bezel and just basically upgraded the interior to a 2001 Cherokee Limited. The leather from the Limited just didn't fit the look of this truck so we decided to use a set of Classic Cherokee seats in the truck. The classic seats offer better support and an adjustable headrest. The sport model was loaded to start with has all the power options, power windows and locks as well as tilt and cruise. You have all the amenities with this Jeep. This Jeep runs and shifts like it should with very low miles for the year. The truck was only driven approx 6500 miles a year and towed another 10k a year. This 4.0 has many years of service and life left in it. All the fluids are brand new and synthetic including oil, trans and of course both differentials. This Jeep is being sold with no reserve and will be sold to the highest bidder. There will be a 500 dollar deposit due within 24 hours of auctions close. The remainder will be due within 72 hours in the form of a bank wire or cash in person. No I will not take your check and send you the remainder and let your shipper pick it up. The truck is as nice of a 1999 Cherokee as you could ask for but it is not a brand new Jeep, paint and interior may have a few flaws but no major flaws. It is a reconditioned 18 year old truck. Please feel free to come see the truck before you bid, and ask as many questions as you like, you will be hard pressed to find a nicer Cherokee, even if you spend a lot more. Truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to stop auction for a local sale.
