Engine has typical AMC inline 6 clacking lifter noise that goes away once engine is warm.
Engine runs well and does not smoke or use oil.
Rust is beginning to form lots of places - worst rust is starting in the floor.
New-in-box floor pans are included.
The subwoofer and amplifier work but are not hooked up.
The Jeep starts well, but key must be turned on for a few seconds before starting (due to a common problem with these jeeps where a stuck check valve near the fuel tank allows fuel pressure to bleed off when engine is not running).
The headliner is beginning to fall down above the drivers seat.
The hood is bent and dented (closed garage door when hood was open).
The font clip has been scuffed and primed (I once intended to prime the whole vehicle, but that's as far as I made it).
Winch will pull the Jeep just fine, but last time I used it the switch was a bit wonky, had to click the button off and on several times for it to operate. This should be looked at before taking the Jeep too far off the path.
Spare wheel is bent a little, works fine as a spare.Power door locks work after several clicks, but best to assume you have to operate them manually.
If you plan to cut the fenders and install 33" tires, I will include five extra wheels (15x8 inch, same style as what is currently installed).
As a preventative measure before a trip 3 years ago I replaced a few items on the Jeep:
Radiator (larger core version), radiator hoses, water pump, thermostat, exhaust manifold (the originals is prone to cracking), motor mounts (the originals are prone to breaking), and O2 Sensor. These items have very little miles on them.
There are also:
Fresh u-joints in front and rear driveshafts.
Fresh spark plugs and wires.
