2002 Jeep Wrangler Description

2002 Jeeep Wrangler
I bought this Jeep in 2010 w 98,000 miles for a second vehicle to drive in the snow when needed. When my son turned 16 this became his vehicle to drive back and forth to school. It was a great vehicle with low insurance for this purpose. He's now going to college so a different vehicle is need and the Jeep needs to go.
Under my ownership this Jeep has not seen any rough off road usage, almost all blacktop and a little snow. We have put 32,000 miles on it. It drives well and I have tried to keep up on all the maintenance and repairs. In the last few years I have:
Replaced shocks
Replaced Tires
Tuned up and new coil/plugs
Replaced brakes
New front rotors
Replaced engine belts
New front end bearings
New power steering pump, steering gearbox, steering hoses
Fixed oil leaks
Various emissions that turn engine light on
New radio
New coolant flush
New brake fluid flush
New gear oils
New battery
Mechanically I would say this vehicle is in very good condition. Then there's the body.
Hood has dent were friend sat on it. Tail gate is dented from sliding into a tree on the driveway in the ice. Rear bumper has been replaced. Various rust spots. I think this Jeep originally had a hard top but now only the soft top. Doors are a different color of yellow than body. The pictures reflect that my son has never washed it so that is how dirty it has gotten for the most part. Luckily all Jeep parts are replaceable.
Interior is in good shape with cloth seats. No rips or tears. Top is still in good condition with scratches on windows.
I purchased the Jeep with a Missouri "Previous Salvage" title. This means the insurance company totaled it for some reason (Looks like water damage, See title history) in the past and someone rebuilt it or just changed the paperwork back. Since I have put 32,000 on it over 7 years, it drives fine and is mechanically sound. Not sure of the exact Jeep model. It has a 6 cylinder, air conditioning, automatic and aluminum rims which mean it is not the base model. Has "Sport" sticker on side but original Sport was a 4 cylinder so this might be a "Sport X" You will be buying it with the same Missouri "Previous Salvage" title unless your state treats it differently.
Fully expect you to look at and drive it before buying. This is a cash purchase, no credit cards, paypal or checks.
